Watch the sunset from the deck in the hot tub or to have your morning coffee. Full game room downstairs. This new spot is guaranteed to bring joy for all! This is a newly renovated home set back off of 74 A. The upstairs has three bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. There is a full stocked open floor plan kitchen and dining room. Theres a living area with wood burning stove fire place. Downstairs there are three bunk beds and a full bathroom off of the game room. The Game room is a large newly renovated space with pool, shuffle board, darts, ping pong, fuze ball and pac man. There is a deck with a hot tub. Outside by the shed, there are stairs that lead to the outdoor fire pit. There are benches built around the fire pit. Guests have access to the entire space. There is plenty of parking behind and on the side of the house. There are two doors with key pads to enter and sliding doors upstairs. Courtney and Larry live locally and close, so please reach out with any questions or any assistance that is needed. Gerton, North Carolina is located in the mountains between Asheville and Lake Lure. The Florence preserve is a 600 acre conservation area with lush forest, waterfalls, overlooks and 5 plus miles of hiking. In the small town of Gerton, NC there are other trailheads including Bearwallow mountain, Trombatore Trail, Wild Cat rock and more. Very close is Chimney Rock State Park, Lake Lure, and Rumbling Bald State Park. There is also mountain biking, fly fishing, kayaking and rafting that is close as well. There are multiple fresh farm to table options close by including Hickory Nut Gap Farm with fresh local meats to dine in or take home and family farm actives on site. There are multiple farms in between Fairview and Gerton to stop and pick up fresh veggies. There is now a local store in Gerton! Bearwallow Provisions for small market needs and gear as well as a coffee shop! In Fairview are great local restaurants including The Local Joint, Piazza, Rise Above Bakehouse. And a few breweries, the Whistle Stop Brewing and Turgua. The closest grocery store is 7 miles from the house, on 74-A. The house is set off the road with a small dirt drive. There is plenty of parking located behind the house. We are working on changing wifi providers. We had to go with Viasat, however are in the process of changing to Spectrum. We ask that if guests experience any internet issues to message us and we will call Viasat for a reboot. We have added wifi extenders to the property, however have received feedback that at times internet might be spotty. Please bare with us, as we make this change and we apologize for any inconvenience.
