"Benno the Wagon" - a tiny house on the edge of the forest

"Benno the Car" was originally an old shooting stand, which we converted into a tiny house with a lot of passion and love for detail. In it you can now stay in the middle of nature and still feel at home. On about 16 square meters you have everything you really need to live. Benno stands near a detached cottage outside Kleintettau in the Franconian Forest. On a meadow on the edge of the forest, he says good night to the fox and rabbit and is happy about company! The space In front of the trailer, there is a small terrace where you can have breakfast in the sun or admire the stars at night. When you open Benno's door, you enter directly into the open-concept living, cooking and eating area. Here there is a cozy armchair and a wood-burning stove ("Küchenhexe") that provides cozy warmth in winter and on which you can also cook (wood is provided by us). In summer or when the wood stove is not burning, you can cook on a portable stove with 2 cooking rings. The kitchenette is formed by an old Norwegian sink, and at Great-Grandma Maria's old dining table you can eat, work, play and chat. You have to wash the dishes by hand. To make coffee, there is a French press, a Bialetti and a filter for manual filtering. The trailer also has a fridge. Everything you need (in our opinion) in terms of utensils for cooking is available. There are also a few basic spices, salt and pepper, vinegar and oil, sugar, tea and a little coffee in the wagon. Two steps lead from the living area to the sleeping area. Benno has a cozy bed (1.40 m x 2.00 m) from which you can look out into nature. The bed is raised, so we can set up a "sleeping den" under the bed for additional children brought along if required (an extra mattress with bedding; 1.40 m x 1.80 m). Children in the sleeping den cost 10 euros extra per night per child. Please let us know if you need the sleeping nook. It can also serve as a good alternative if, for example, there are only two of you, but you would still like more space to sleep. On the other side of the living area, you can again get to the bathroom via 2 steps. The bathroom is small but nice. There you will find a sit-down bathtub for showering, a sink, a small closet and a toilet. The trailer has electricity, running water (hot and cold) and, most recently, even Wi-Fi. Guest access You use the car and terrace alone. There are no other guests than you =:) Other things to note There is a free parking space near the neighboring house. If you are arriving by public transport, you can use the Kronach district's dial-a-bus service, which will take you from/to the nearest train station in Steinbach am Wald. Or you can ask us – if we have time, we'll be happy to drive you. We ask for your understanding that campfires, barbecues, etc. are not allowed so close to the forest.
