The cottage is our family's home away from home. We know you will fall in love. Our house is a place layered in history and memories, things that matter and evoke comfort. Mt. McSauba skiing, hiking, skating and sledding is only .6 of a mile away! The location is peaceful. Enhanced WIFI, PREMIUM YEAR ROUND CABLE TV, Weber grill, a beautiful fire pit and a paddle board will enhance your stay! Lake Michigan is just over a block away! One of the most beautiful beaches is around the corner. The space The cottage is welcoming, true and as authentic as a Michigan cottage could be. You will have everything you need and more! With some fine finishings like marble counters and a farmhouse sink, you will be surrounded by beauty, texture and color. The street is quiet and that makes the cottage perfect for family time... you will be in-town but away from the bustle. Enjoy your private yard in the front and back. Or we have a 40" HDTV with a blu-ray DVD and high speed wireless internet for those who need to stay connected. There is a Bose Wave radio on the main level and Bose SoundLink Bluetooth speaker in the master that will bring you rich life-like sound where ever you are in the cottage. The beds are all perfect for an excellent night's sleep: one queen Tempurpedic, one full pillow top and 2 bunk beds in the loft space. The bathrooms are stocked with toiletries. Full kitchen with a large walk in pantry. Outside we offer a new Weber grill and patio set for backyard dining. Enjoy the setting... it's not uncommon to have deer stroll through the yard to munch on our beautiful flowers, one of our favorite activities is just sitting on the front porch marveling at our late summer garden and all the monarchs it attracts! Scattered throughout the cottage is artwork produced by our daughters and art handed down from our family. We invite you to explore the art and our belongings and also respect our home as these things are dear to us. Located on the desirable north side of Charlevoix, the Cottage is perfectly situated so that it is a beautiful walk along historic Michigan Avenue to town and surrounded by quiet beaches. Mt. McSauba is less than a mile away too! Please know that we call this cottage cozy for a reason! It’s 1350 square feet and has beds for eight.
