The space The ideal location of Hawthorn Cottage lends itself to exploration; the cottage is in easy walking distance of Northleach centre and multiple rambling footpaths. But, if you fancy going further afield, it is only a short drive to famous Cotswolds towns all steeped in history and jam-packed with cosy bars, restaurants, antique shops and independent boutiques. The cottage hosts ample living areas and a large, welcoming garden. Inside is perfect for feasting and fun, with enough room in the living/dining area for you all to gather for joyful evenings playing games, chatting and relaxing. The bedrooms are gracefully enhanced with a soft and serene neutral décor, making them cosy and calm for a restful night’s sleep. Two of the bedrooms are en-suite and there is another large bathroom making this an enviably well-equipped cottage. Outside, you can enjoy a private and peaceful garden, ideal for children to explore whilst the dogs have space to run free. The Cotswold countryside is full of surprises, so wander further afield than the garden and explore the beautiful Hampnett Valley and the Salt and Fosseways – all easily accessible from the cottage. Ground Floor Entrance Hall: As you enter the cottage, you are welcomed by the light and airy hallway. This theme is continued throughout the home, creating a calm elegance and homely atmosphere. On the left-hand side of the hallway there is a handy separate cloakroom. Kitchen/Living/Dining area: The kitchen is contemporary and bright with enough space to cook up a storm to enjoy with your family and friends. The kitchen leads through to the open plan living and dining area, where you can relax on the comfy corner sofa and light the fire after a delicious meal. In the summer months, open the bi-fold doors and let warm, golden light cascade into the space. The large dining table not only allows ample space for the whole group to dine but is also the perfect spot to sip your morning coffee, looking out into the garden beyond. First Floor Bedroom Three: This pretty, twin bedroom allows flexibility to the sleeping arrangements. The room is in the same sophisticated and neutral style as the bedrooms below, ensuring the whole group can have a restful sleep ready for a day of rural exploration. Bedroom Four: This room features a king-size bed with crisp linens and a thick and fluffy duvet for you to drift off into peaceful sleep. The room also looks to the front of the property, allowing in natural light whenever you are ready to pull the blinds up after an indulgent lie-in. Bathroom The large bathroom is easily accessible from both bedrooms. The comfortable atmosphere is enhanced by underfloor heating, keeping you warm and cosy after a soothing, relaxing bubble bath. Outside The charming garden is accessed through the living/dining room and serves as a spacious sanctuary. This fee is not included in the rental price. Please advise us at the time of booking if you are bringing a dog/s and you will be sent a request for the additional fee. Please note that additional guests above the maximum capacity are not permitted to stay overnight. It is the policy of this property not to take bookings for groups where the majority of guests are under the age of 25, or single-sex group celebrations, including stag/hen parties.
