Over 3,000 square feet of Moss Creek Design timber frame construction, this home is perfect for a large family or group of friends to begin a new tradition of making memories in the High Country! This stunning farm house sits on 4 acres of un-touched, rolling landscape and offers long range mountain views that will leave you speechless. Step inside to be greeted by beautiful vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors and a stacked stone gas-fireplace, creating a spacious homey feel. Venture into the gourmet kitchen which is furnished with beautiful granite counters, a large custom island, plenty of cooking essentials for the family chef and upgraded appliances. Take a load off outside on the massive front porch and admire the views of the mountains, while relaxing in the rocking chairs or sit in the hot tub under a full sky of stars. The home features a beautiful fire pit, as well. This elegantly decorated home is a perfect, rustic mountain getaway for all seasons. If you can find it within yourself to go out after you get settled in, you are just 10 minutes from downtown Banner Elk and Valle Crucis, 15 minutes from Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, and 20 minutes from Beech Mountain Ski Resort. A level-two electric vehicle charger is available for guest use. D-Coy's Nest pairs comfort with essential amenities and a custom but high-end luxury feel to make you feel at home, making this the perfect destination for your next Blue Ridge Mountain vacation! Sleeping Accommodations: Master Bedroom on main lever with a queen size bed. Second bedroom on main level with 2 twin beds. Third bedroom upstairs with a King bed (Jack & Jill bathroom). Fourth bedroom upstairs with a King bed (Jack & Jill bathroom). Loft area with one bunk bed and 2 queen size sleeper sofas. D-Coy's Nest is across the street from Scroll Rock, a quaint 1 bedroom cabin on Pigeon Roost Creek, if part of your group would like to have their own private accommodations. Additional Notes: - All BRMR homes offer well stocked kitchens with all utensils needed to cook meals. There is also a "starter set" of paper products at the house: a roll of toilet paper per bath, a couple garbage bags, a small vial of dishwashing liquid, a few tablets of dishwasher detergent, some laundry pods, a roll of paper towels, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and some makeup remover cloths. There are enough of these items for one night, or maybe two. - Firewood may be purchased with a week's notice. You receive two wrapped, kiln-dried bundles and a fire starter for $25 plus tax. Firewood payment is collected through the Airbnb Resolution Center. - Towels and linens will be provided for you. - AWD or 4WD vehicles are required during winter months. - The homeowner uses two exterior security cameras to monitor their home and ensure it remains safe. #1 is beside the gutter on the driveway side of the home facing the driveway. #2 is on the back porch overlooking the driveway and back yard. House Rules: • Check in is after 4pm • Checkout by 10am • This home allows up to 2 mature dogs. Please be sure to list your pets, and it will be included in the total shown. Pets other than dogs are not permitted. • Must be at least 25 years old to reserve. This person is required to be one of the persons staying in the property for the reserved dates. • No smoking inside the home. No trace of smoking left outside the home. • Do not leave food or trash outside as it could attract animals. • No parties or gatherings above the posted occupancy allowed. Keep outside noise respectable. • 4WD/AWD and/or chains recommended during winter- it is your responsibility to come prepared for winter weather. No refunds are given if you are not prepared for winter weather. • Guest is responsible for any damages caused by intentional (non-accidental) actions. • Host is not responsible for items left in the home. • Must electronically sign an additional Rental Agreement Terms and Conditions sent by Host (property manager) within 60 days of arrival.
