We invite you to take delight in our cozy studio suite! Located only 2 short miles from beautiful Downtown Mount Dora! Step out of your door and find yourself on our quaint sitting area that feature beautiful views of pristine Lake Gertrude! The front porch is the perfect spot to sit back and relax while you enjoy your morning cup of coffee or your favorite afternoon beverage. The space **Flexible check-in and check-out times are available upon request at no additional cost, subject to availability.** The Loft is a unique getaway located above a large detached garage behind The Kennedy just minutes from the center of beautiful Mount Dora, Florida. It is accessed by an external staircase and balcony with a lake view making it great place to read your favorite book. In the loft tradition, the area is a large 900 SF room with a spacious sitting area complete with an overstuffed armchair, big TV with cable and a queen size sofa sleeper. There is also a separate sleeping area boasting a comfortable queen size bed and large dresser with mirror. Providing the culinary basics is a partial kitchen which includes a microwave, Keurig coffee maker and an under counter refrigerator. A big closet and very nice bathroom with a roomy walk in shower completes the picture. A large secluded patio and grassy side yard shared with our other rental "The Kennedy" provide a wonderful place to gather, relax and sip your favorite afternoon beverage. Perhaps the best feature of "The Loft" is its location. Just around the corner there is a paved walking / bike path with a wildlife area. The path continues along the shoreline of pristine Lake Gertrude. As you walk (exactly 2 miles round trip) there are a few beautiful moss laden ancient oaks arching over the path and one is likely to see a variety of ibis, egrets, herons, ducks, and possibly a Limpkin or an eagle. In the mornings and evenings there are always a few marsh bunnies at the edge of the wild life habitat. Feel free to bring your canoe, kayak or paddle board as there is a public access to pristine Lake Gertrude within walking distance from your rental! All of this, with quaint Mount Dora only a 2 mile drive or bike ride away, is hard to beat. *1 vehicle maximum. Unfortunately, this is not a pet friendly unit as the renal is mainly carpeted. Driveway & patio are partially shared with another rental that is on the same property. You will have your reserved parking spot.
