Located at the base of the mountain on Lake Sconti at Big Canoe, we are a 5 min. walk to Black Bear Pub & Golf Center and a short drive to the Tennis Center, Wellness Center and Waterpark. We are also very close to the main gate for quick access to grocery stores, local restaurants, wineries, and popular wedding venues. Location, location, location. We offer lake views, a fully stocked kitchen, new appliances & mattresses, new W/D and 2 kayaks for your use on Lake Sconti. It sleeps 6 with 2 bedrooms + loft, 2 TVs, free WiFi, indoor fireplace, firepit & gas grill. Cool off in our spring fed lakes, enjoy shaded mountain golf and summer temperatures that average mid 80s during the day and mid 60s at night. Launch one of our two kayaks for a tour of Lake Sconti or rent a boat at the marina for a day of trout fishing and a sunset cruise. Hike the trails and experience waterfalls and streams galore. And enjoy a game of pickleball at our new open playtime on Tuesdays or a game of tennis at our indoor courts. No matter what season you stay, there is something magical to enjoy at Big Canoe. If you're ready to escape the heat, come to Big Canoe and chill at our lovely cottage in Jasper, GA just 70 miles north of Atlanta. You'll have exclusive access to the cottage with one assigned parking space next to the property and open parking within the Lake Watch Village. Before your stay, I'll send you the cottage key code and your name will be provided at the Main Gate where you'll receive a renter's packet and community access pass. I own and manage the property and enjoy interacting with my guests who have full access to the cottage. Before your stay I try to provide updates on Big Canoe events such as holiday festivities, concerts, and local happenings. Lake Watch Villa is at the base of Big Canoe with views of Lake Sconti, the Golf Course and the Black Bear Pub. We have 2 Kayaks you can launch on the lake for fishing and exploring. There is so much to see and experience in the area inside and outside the gates of Big Canoe including wineries, hiking, and history. Spend the afternoon panning for gold in Dahlonega, hike Amicalola Falls or go tubing in the Alpine town of Helen, GA. Please note that the Beach Club with saline system swimming pool and roped off swimming section on Lake Disharoon including rock slide and inflatable water park is open from May 27 - Sept. 4. The Wildcat Pool and Splash Pad are open from May 27 - Sept 24.
