The space • Our 10 acre wooded property has 272 ft. of Lake Superior beachfront. • A custom built 1&1/2 story cottage with 2016 ft. of well appointed living space welcomes you. • An attached 10 ft. by 20 ft. screened porch with recessed lighting and ceiling fan. • A lake facing 12 ft. by 42 ft. concrete patio with outdoor furniture. • The outdoor wood stove sauna experience is a highlight for our guests. A 5 ft. steam room window features views of Lake Superior and the Huron mountains. Guest access Guests have full access to the property- driveway/parking, cottage, screened porch, patio, lawn, sauna and attached storage, our beachfront and woods. The beach area from the lake to the high water mark is considered public space. As such you may encounter other vacationers or property owners out rock hunting or beach walking. The mechanical room is locked and used as storage by the homeowner. Other things to note This property is wooded and is habitat for native wildlife. Native wildlife in the area include deer, turkey, coyote, wolf, bear and eagle to name a few. ***Making sure to check all outdoor areas regularly for food scraps/spills, dishes etc. will go a long way to discourage wildlife visitors. We are conveniently located 2.5 miles from the snowmobile, ATV/ORV trails, 3.5 miles from the Gay Bar (Gas & Food) and 18 miles from Mount Bohemia. We have contracted snowplowing services to keep the driveway and parking lot clear during the winter months.
