An old Florida apartment that has been updated with a new kitchen. Very clean. Kitchen equipped for cooking! Central air conditioning! Walk to Whole Foods. Starbucks, Trader Joe's, and many restaurants are a very short drive away. ALL UNITS Fully equipped kitchen Wifi: redundant high speed connections Parking: free, off-street, two cars Washer & Dryer 4K SmartTV, log on to your Netflix/HBO/etc account The space IMPORTANT: Floors are terrazzo (cold, like polished cement). The TV gets limited local channels but no cable. Kitchen: The Kitchen is equipped for real cooking. There are sharp knives and non-stick pots and pans. Wi-Fi: two internet connections (AT&T and Comcast) provide redundancy. Both are the highest residential speeds available. Stream 4K movies or do video calls. Parking is not assigned, but there is plenty of room for two cars. Laundry: You can also use the coin-operated washer and dryer, which are shared with other units. Babies: every unit has a crib, and a highchair is available on request. Beach gear: we provide beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, and a cooler. This is an old apartment. It was built with lots of wood, it is surrounded by flowers and bushes, and it has had many experiences. If you have these conditions, it probably won’t be the right choice for you. -This is an old house and the unit is on the ground floor. Bugs are a constant battle in Florida. You may encounter some during your stay. We exterminate using traps, bait, sprays, and fumigation. There is bug spray on the top shelf in the kitchen cabinet furthest from the sink. If you need us to come and exterminate, we can send someone Monday through Saturday (Sundays are more difficult). -We clean ovens about every 90 days. For most guests heating the oven to 325F (160C) is enough to sterilize it after the previous guest. -All of our TVs (in all units) are 4K Smart TVs (mostly Samsung). They have apps preinstalled for Netflix, HBO, etc, and you can sign on to your own streaming accounts. We do not, however, have cable. Local channels are very limited. -The coin-operated washer and dryer are sometimes used by guests from other units. -Ducks: we have a lot of them in the neighborhood. Some people think they are cute. Some people don't like the "droppings". We pressure wash monthly, but if you book here, you need to be prepared for ducks. -We provide a Keurig coffee maker and four coffee pods to get you started on the first morning -We no longer provide a drip (filter) coffee maker
