Welcome to Sawcliffe Manor, a stunning Grade II listed historic country house, perfect for large groups, hen parties looking for something special. Our unique home has 100s of antiques, a large walled garden & a number extra services such as catering, all on-site... - Giant yurt venue hire - Private spa sessions - Breakfasts, afternoon teas & evening catering - 3 extra cottages for larger group bookings (up to 50) - Archery, axe throwing, bonfires, yoga, wine tasting & more The space Sawcliffe Manor dates back 400 years and is absolutely crammed full of history and character. It sleeps 16-24 guests. Additional cottages can be added for larger groups. Our Farm is also home to a 400 acre nature reserve with wild Exmoor ponies roaming on it, a private spa facility which you can book during your stay, an archery range, and even a 60m2 giant yurt perfect for celebrations. • The Layout • Kitchen: Enormous farmhouse kitchen with Italian marble tops and a 6-door AGA cooker, perfect for cooking up a storm. Dining room: A beautiful Georgian room seating 24 on one large table table together. Living room: Includes a wood-burner, smart TV - Netflix & Chromecast. Bedrooms: 7 vast Manor style bedrooms with 10 beds & 4 sofa-beds*, sleeping up to 24 guests. Bathrooms: 4 full bathrooms, 1 shower room, 1 cloakroom. Copper and freestanding baths. It has soft seating, a wood burner and we’ll even provide a speaker. Natural Spa: Book a private session for your group in our gorgeous spa facilities. With views over the countryside treatments include our famous Cleopatra cows milk hot tub and our Estonian Iglu-sauna. Archery & axe throwing range: A one-of-a-kind group activity where you can test the strong amongst your group. Catering: We have a range of different catering option, from breakfasts, to afternoon teas and 3 course evening meals. We can cater for all sorts of dietary requirements like vegan, veggie, lactose free, and gluten free. • Large Group Bookings • Airbnb allows guests to search and book for accommodation for up to 16 guests. Please note that all bookings made on Airbnb are for a maximum of 16 guests. We do however have capacity for up 24 guests at Sawcliffe Manor and the maximum capacity for all of our accommodation (Manor + cottages) is 51 guests. • Extra Guests & Cottages • If you’d like to add extra guests, beyond Airbnb’s 16 guest limit - let our booking team know when booking. You’ll be able to add them onto your booking via your Guest App £45/night X no of nights booked. Infants that are 2 years or younger are free. Guests can alter their final guest count in the Manor until 60 days before checkin - to allow for unexpected changes in circumstances. Check-in is from 4pm onwards Check-out is up to 12 noon. It has its own kitchenette, basic domestic power supply, sofas, speaker and gorgeous decor. Additional table hire: £30/table. Tables seat 8-10 guests. Additional chair hire: £5/chair. Timings & Access: Available to you for the duration of your stay. Please note: Speakers may not exceed 85DB and guests may not play loud music after 11.30pm (so as to not disturb our other guests and neighbours), medium/ambient music after this time is totally fine after this time. What's included in a Natural Spa Session? A 2 hour pamper session in our magical wooden hot tub (1700 litres of fresh water), our copper hot tub, our incredible Estonian Iglu-Sauna, experience shower, foot-baths, spa garden, and spa resting area. We'll provide you with gorgeous natural spa kits combining the best of spa cultures from around the world. Perfect for indulgent pamper sessions to really relax. Ideal for large groups. Guests can enjoy 1 hour archery lessons in one of the oldest parts of our farm together with our legendary teacher Reg. Don't worry if you've never tried it before, it's easier than it look. For Hens, this activity will be adapted to a 'cupid's arrow' archery session, and we will ask you to bring a print out copy of the bride/groom's faces ;-) Timings & Access: 1 hour lesson, chose from 11.15am-12.15pm OR 3.30pm-4.30pm (can be altered). _______ → Bonfire evening with axe throwing: Pricing:* 1-5 guests, £175/group. 6-15 guests, £35/guest. 16+ guests, £560/group Guests can enjoy an evening of learning how to start a fire with flint, axe throwing and marshmallows by the fire in the Manor garden. We will deliver our 3 course meal to the Manor’s beautiful big kitchen island, ready for you to enjoy when suits you (we’ll leave instructions to keep things warm), and we’ll even lay the beautiful big table in the dining room for you with table cloths, flowers, napkins and candles, so you won’t have to worry about a thing. Options: Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten Free and Lactose Free available. Includes: Chose from a broad selection of starters, mains and deserts Timings: Table laying service, between 2pm and 5.30pm. Evening meal delivery ca. 5.15pm delivery (ready for oven). If your group have booked into our spa, we’ll make sure that all of our delicious food is ready and waiting for you when you have finished pampering yourselves. ---------- -> Grazing Platters Pricing:* £23/guest Perfect for an evening my the fire, in the garden, or enjoyed just after a spa. Our grazing domes include delicious cheese from Mary’s Cows at Cote Hill Farm (1KM from Sawcliffe) - they’ve even won the ’Great Taste Award’. We’ll spoil you with a selection of tapas items like olives, dips, specialty relishes and crackers (from Peter’s Yard). Don’t worry, if you are doing Veganuary, have lactose or gluten intolerance, we have a variation for you too! Timings: Available between 12 noon and 9pm. We’ll deliver it to the Manor kitchen for you to enjoy when it best suits you. Important Notes: Please leave the keys to your accommodation available to us for deliveries. They offer sit down meals which are delicious and also have a fabulous Pizza Kitchen in a Horse Box which can also be hired. Both are extremely popular with our guests, and as Kerry works with us frequently, she knows the Manor inside out (and you won't have to worry about a thing)! _______ -> Supermarket food deliveries: receive & store away: £30/delivery We'll happily receive your grocery order for the weekend and store it away in the house. This includes waiting for the delivery at a specific time on the day of your checkin. _______ → Yoga in the Yurt & Tea: Pricing:* up-to 16 guests: £480/lesson, aka £30/guest Guests can enjoy 1.5 hours restorative vinyassa yoga with our favourite local yoga teacher, followed by a lovely herbal tea and fruit selection. Please note that yoga mats are not provided for this activity, our teacher has a few that she can bring if needed, however the rugs in our yurt are a very suitable surface for practicing yoga in case you don't have enough private mats (we've tried it before)! Timings & Access: TBC with yoga instructor ______ • A Note about Extras • All of our add-ons are subject to the availability of our service providers and are booked on a first come first serve basis. When booking our yurt, our spa, private chef, yoga teacher, sommelier and bushcraft teacher - we recommend booking as early as possible to avoid any kind of disappointment. We have other guests on the farm, and you may be pipped to the post. We recommend booking extras as soon as you can. Please note that prices for extras, that are listed here on Airbnb, may not be 100% up-to-date. We endeavour to update all the information as best we can, but if you'd like to double check prices, please don't hesitate to get in touch with our booking team. We'll be glad to help. • Sleeping Arrangements for Large Groups • As our pricing is per guest, the exact number of sleeping spaces that have been booked (indicated in the no. of guests added to your booking) will be prepared. Aka. 16 guests, 16 sleeping spaces, 22 guests, 22 sleeping spaces etc. If you'd like to add more beds/sofabeds to your booking, you can do this on your Guest App for a small extra linen fee. • Parties and Special Occasions • To avoid damage to the Manor house building parties are not allowed inside Sawcliffe Manor. Additional farm venues and extras, such as our giant party yurt and spa, can be hired and booked separately from your accommodation for your occasion. • External entertainers, workshop providers • In general can bring workshop providers and entertainers to the farm. Please be sure to run it past us first, and provide us with a copy of the suppliers Public Liability Insurance Certificate 1 week before their arrival. Exceptions: Please keep in mind that it’s not permitted to hire the following external service providers on site, as these are all services that we provide: - Spa & Wellness: Spa, massage therapy, wellness therapy, beauty therapists. - Equipment hire: Like hot tubs, saunas, tent hire, bouncy castle and inflatable hire. - Outdoor pursuit & bush-craft activities: Archery, bush-crafts classes, axe-throwing & bonfire/fire instructors. - Teachers: Yoga, meditation instructors. • External Caterers • Though we are an accommodation and catering business - guests can bring external caterers onto the property. The corkage fee for hiring external caterers to supply their services at Sawcliffe Manor is £300. You can add this to your booking via your Guest App. Grazing Box Deliveries: As this is a service that we provide, booking a grazing box delivery service to supply food services to the Manor, will incur our corkage fee. Fast Food, Takeaway Deliveries: Takeout & fast food deliveries are no problem at all. We’ll include recommendations on your Guest App. • Tea, Pub & Supermarket Recommendations • We're lucky enough to have an excellent pub restaurant 'The Hope & Anchor' near us in South Ferriby, (10 min drive) which we wholeheartedly recommend not only for it's food but also it's Humberside Views. It has won many national awards and if you book referencing Sawcliffe Manor, they will make sure your group have a fabulous table and a complimentary welcome drink. Sadly no pubs are within walking distance of the farm. • Supermarkets • Our closest supermarkets are Aldi, Scunthorpe (5 mins), Co-op Winterton (5 mins), Sainsbury's, Scunthorpe (10 mins). We are also happy receive supermarket orders on the day of your checkin for an additional £30/delivery. • What else do I need to know? • There are a number of other cottages on the farm, including Rose Cottage - which is semi-detached to the Manor. Speakers and dance parties are not permitted inside the Manor house, it is accomodation only. Our Giant Party Yurt is available to hire as a party venue and our quiet hours are from 11.30pm until 9am. We ask all of our guests to be respectful of neighbors and their need for rest in the evenings. Guest access Guests will have access to the Manor house and the garden. Members of our family and other guests will be in adjacent accommodation. We have a number of other holiday cottages and spa facilities on our site, so please do not be alarmed by the presence of others on the farm. Yurt: If guests hire the yurt they will have access to the yurt. If they chose not to there will be glamping guests sharing the garden during their stay. Hot Tubs & Saunas: Likewise with the Natural Spa, if guests chose to hire this they will have access for an allocated session on the day and hours of their choice. This is adjacent to the Manor. Please note that other guests will have Spa sessions booked on other days between the times of 5pm and 8pm - especially in summer months, during this time we ask all of our guests to be respectful of outdoor noise during these hours. Other things to note • Security Deposit • Guests are required to provide a refundable security deposit of £1150 using a credit or debit card and to sign our rental agreement prior to checkin via our Guest App system. Checkin details will not be shared with guests that do not meet these checkin requirements. Don't worry, it takes 2 mins to complete. • Important Information • The hot tubs & saunas on our listings are part of our 'Natural Spa Facilities'. To enjoy our spa facilities, giant party yurt, breakfast and other catering services, please book these additionally via your Guest App. These services are not included in the price of your accommodation booking here on Airbnb but can be added and booked additionally. • Checking out • Please leave the Manor as you found it. We'll provide you with cleaning materials and anything that you need. Please respect our personal belongings, do not take them out of cupboards or home with you (this includes books please). Please wash and put away your dishes and return items/furniture back to their original positions before leaving. • Party Yurt Hire • Prices start from £310/1 night, please see your Guest App for more information. It's a fabulous venue for large celebrations/dancing etc. • Natural Spa Facilities: Hot Tubs & Sauna • The hot tubs and saunas featured on our listing are part of our gorgeous natural spa facilities. The use of our spa is not included in the price of your accommodation booking, but you can book pampering private spa sessions for your group via the Guest App. Prices start at £45/guest. • Catering Services • Guests can book our in-house catering and private chef services, which start from £12.50/guest. If you'd like to bring external caterers onto the property, that's not a problem at all, the corkage fee for doing so is is £300. This can be added using your Guest App, or will be charged via your security deposit after checkout. • Fire & Smoking • No smoking in the house or the yurt. Please do not leave any fires or candles unattended. Absolutely no fireworks, campfires or bonfires permitted. • Using Speakers • To ensure that our neighbours and other guests are not disturbed, parties with speakers and music and dancing are not permitted inside the Manor house, Please hire our giant party yurt as a party venue. Speaker levels may not exceed 85db (we provide a speaker in the yurt). Our quiet hours on the farm are between 11.30pm and 9am. • Caring for the environment • Please don't leave any party residues (eg balloons), food/drink on the property. Please avoid glitter if you can (these micro-plastics can harm our sheep) Bottles & cans that exceed the recycling bin provided must be taken with you upon checkout (there is a local recycling point 8 mins drive from the Manor). No dog mess & dogs must be kept on leads. • Entertainers & Workshop Providers • Cocktail making workshops, and entertainers are permitted, please provide us with a PLI certificate prior to checkin, and run it past our booking team before booking. • Travelling with Dogs • If you are travelling with a dog, you must let us know about your pets during the online checkin process on your Guest App. You will be asked "are you travelling with any pets". If you answer "yes" - we will send you a link to add and pay for your dog via your custom Guest App. Dog fee prices: Small dogs: £15/night/dog: Under 8kg or 1.25 stone. Medium dogs: Under 15 kg, or 2.3 stone. Large dogs: Over 15 kg, or 2.3 stone. Puppies under the age of 18 months: Are not permitted on the property due to property damage risk. Please note that for safety reasons dogs listed in the "dangerous dog act" are not permitted the access the property. • Serious Damage or Disruption • The main booking contact will be held responsible for any damages or theft and will also be asked to read and sign a full copy of our Manor, Yurt, Farm & Spa rules, and rental agreement prior to checking in. Disrespectful use of the property, failure to follow house rules, or smoking inside the property, will result in an additional cleaning fine of £200+. Respectful use of the property, will not result in any fees.
