Enjoy a spacious, private family home, in a diverse community with your quiet host (me, Sophia) living next door & ready to answer questions or help as needed. Your family will share our yard. I've decorated with colorful art and crafts from my family's travels on 3 continents & aim to provide the amenities we enjoyed at our favorite places. We often host families with young children and can provide toys, games, pack n play crib, stroller, booster seats and more. And we provide lots of beach supplies. STREET PARKING ONLY. This 100 year old modernly updated home in a historic residential neighborhood is your family's private space. A modern kitchen to meet the needs of the most demanding cook. Relax on the swings in the sunroom and in spacious living room. You'll share the yard with me, my partner and my brother. We live in other homes on the 1/4 acre property. In our walkable neighborhood, you are 4 blocks from Retro Row, with quaint shops, a global choice of restaurants and the historic Art Theater. Street paring only June-August 2023. Rental bicycles and scooters available nearby. Disneyland is about a half hour drive east; Hollywood and Santa Monica 45-75 minutes in the opposite direction. A public bus on the next block will take you to the sometimes-reliable LA Metro System. But our favorite way to get around is on foot. Other things to note We love our diverse neighborhood as a welcoming place for visitors of all races, nationalities, gender identities. We STRICTLY forbid smoking of all kinds anywhere on the property. Out of respect for neighbors, we do not allow parties and we ask that guests observe a quiet time from 10pm to 8am.
