A unique and idyllic stay- tucked into the mountains of Vermont. By surrounding yourself with the quiet sounds of nature, it is sure to help relax, reset and revive yourself. Enjoy your time in our spacious modern setting alone or with a friend or partner to renew your love of life. Sit and gaze at the stunning Mtn. views in the Jacuzzi spa or roast marshmallows around the outdoor fire pits. Close to ski resorts, hiking trails, & breweries - this place has all you need to stay in or go out. A warm and inviting atmosphere this 706 sq. ft yurt has all you need and more! Living room is equipped with blankets, board games, 43 Inch Roku TV and propane stove to cuddle up near. Kitchen is complete with all of your necessary essentials (bakeware, cutlery and utensils). Large full bathroom and peaceful bedroom with queen bed. We are located just a town away but will give you your space. In doing so, the property is a keyless entry with onsite parking. However, we can easily be reached by phone, messaging or through the Airbnb platform if needed. Private setting tucked into woods. Quiet dead end road. You can make the most of your getaway by staying at the yurt with the calming sounds of nature or you can adventure into the nearby towns for some wonderful day or night activities. Smugglers Notch Mountain and Ski resort- 27 minutes. Jay Peak Resort- 44 minutes Enosburg- 19 minutes (Grocery, Gas, Golf, Restaurants) St. Albans- 35 minutes (Quaint city/ main street shopping, Grocery, Gas, Shopping, Restaurants, Breweries, Golf and more) Burlington 55 Minutes (Larger city- anything you want- they have it!) Stowe- 48 minutes (Ski resort, shopping, breweries, restaurants, small shops) Montreal- 1 hr 44 mins. (passport needed) A four-wheel drive vehicle is strongly recommended during the months of November- April. We are located at the end of a small-town, dead-end road so plows are not always on time or able to make it to us. We will try to keep up with snow removal as best as we can, but still some things come up and a storm can fall quickly. Mud season is also REAL- especially on a dirt road. Ruts can be a pain, so to help aid in avoiding getting stuck we also recommend 4x4 vehicles. Cell service is also extremely limited/non existent while getting to the property. However, we do have free wifi once there. THINGS TO KNOW: We do have free wifi. However, sometimes due to weather and the are it can be slower than usual. It is usually below 50 mbps. This property may not be suitable for children due to limited sleep space, un-gated propane stove and unfenced spa area. BE ADVISED you are staying in a canvas wrapped structure. With that comes a few separate things to add. - Although it is very well insulated and offers multiple heat sources, you may need an extra blanket while sleeping in the bedroom on the nights close to or below freezing because of wall separation from living room. - We can only control our inside environment so much when it comes to insects, just like homes. You are in their environment and occasionally a lady bug or spider may sneak in. - You WILL be able to hear everything. A yurt lining is thinner than your normal home structure- but that is also the absolute magic about them. You can fall asleep to the rain beading off the canvas, just like you were placed smack dab in the middle of a rain stick or you can hear the wind whistle quietly or sharply. Either way, it is tranquil yet. - Please pick up food from outside and dispose of it properly. Due to being in a wooded area, you are also sharing a home with the wildlife around you- like bears. We would prefer to keep them away from the property, although I’m sure your cooking is great! :) - A four-wheel drive vehicle is strongly recommended during the months of November- April. Ruts can be a pain, so to help aid in avoiding getting stuck we also recommend 2wd (with snow tires) & 4x4 vehicles. - Surrounding wood trails may be off limits during hunting season for the safety of the guests (October-December) - Plowing & sanding of driveway will be taken care of during your stay before check in or during, depending on weather.
