Enjoy the Venice Beach lifestyle while staying just steps from the boardwalk and ocean in a private home! This charming home includes: a very spacious living room perfect for friends and family, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, parking (fits 1 regular size SUV or 2 small cars), washer and dryer, fully stocked kitchen, very large patio with Boardwalk and Ocean view. Walking distance to restaurants, shops, and all nightlife. The space The host sometimes stays in the attached back studio that has it's own separate entrance. We park on one side of the driveway, guest parks on otherside. You'll be staying in a charming older home located right behind the Venice Boardwalk. This is as close as you can get to Venice Beach, while staying in a private house! The living room is very large and has a 65" Smart TV with popular apps installed (no cable TV) and there is a dining area. The kitchen is fully stocked with essentials including a coffee maker and electric kettle. The master bedroom is normal size and has a queen bed and full closet. The two bedrooms in the front of the house are smaller. One has a full bed and closet and other room has queen bed. There is also a twin size bed in the very large living room set up as a daybed. Washer and Dryer in the kitchen. In front of the house is a large patio with Boardwalk and Ocean views. There is a small charcoal grill and patio table for your enjoyment! Guest access Guest will have access to entire private house, large front patio and one side of driveway. Driveway fits 1 regular size SUV or 2 small cars, parked back to back. It is COMPACT parking. NO LARGE VANS, NO LARGE SUVS, NO TRUCKS Separate from the home there is a small studio with a separate entrance that shares one common wall that the host often stays at. Host parks on one side of the driveway and guest park on otherside. Other things to note This is a great home if you want to enjoy the excitement, art and culture of Venice Beach. As you probably know, Venice Beach community is fun, artsy, eccentric and marijuana friendly. On the weekends there is usually a drum circle that forms on the beach not far from (you can often hear them) the house and there are a lot of vendors and street performers on the famous Venice boardwalk. There is a lot of eccentric people (and some homeless) who hang around the boardwalk. If you are okay with this, then you will enjoy staying next to the Venice Boardwalk. It is a busy area and can be loud at times, especially the weekend. **Sorry no early check-ins or late check-outs. Cleaning crew needs all the time to clean** TREAT MY HOME LIKE YOUR OWN Property is extensively photographed by myself and cleaning crew after every guest leaves to ensure there is no damage to the home or its furnishings. Please be respectful of our beach home and treat as your own. HOUSE WITH HISTORY Our charming home is more than 100 years old (as are most homes in the area). We have extensively remodeled the house but there are characteristics that come with an old home (older windows, light switches and outlets in odd places..etc.). CLEANING Cleaning is our top priority. We use a professional cleaning company, Coolwater Cleaning, that cleans for many of the hotels on Ocean Front Walk, which is about 50 feet away. NO PARTIES ALLOWED PARKING Guest parks on right side of driveway (furthest spot from the house) fits 1 regular size SUV or 2 small cars, parked back to back. It is COMPACT parking. NO LARGE VANS, NO LARGE SUVS, NO TRUCKS. The left side of the driveway is for me. WE DO NOT PROVIDE We do not provide paper towels but we do provide kitchen towels We do not provide detergent for the washer machine. HEATING There is a gas wall heater in the living room. There are also extra space heaters in the bedroom closets if you need extra heating. COOLING There is an A/C located in the living room east window and in the kitchen bedroom window.
