Entire Cozy Cottage, Historical Azalea District

Welcome to our humble cottage, built in 1946 and lovingly restored, retaining many of the original details. Tall windows dominate all of the rooms, letting in light that is filtered through the shade of the old live oak trees in the front and the huge pecan tree in the back. We have recently rejuvenated the kitchen and bathroom and our guests ❤️the results. We love clean. We are proud of our 133 consistent 5 star ratings for cleanliness! The space Our newly renovated cottage dates back to 1946. It is totally up to 2025 standards with new electrical wiring, plumbing, insulation, windows, AC unit, roofing and a new kitchen with energy saving appliances. However, we kept many charming original details such as the arches in the rooms, the original glass doorknobs, the original oak hardwood floors, the pull down ironing board, original tiles in the bathroom to name a few. The 75 year old live oak trees provide shade in summer and filter the light coming in the front side of the house. Guest access Guests are welcome to use our 2-car carport ( strongly recommended as birds sleep in the trees in front of the house and you don’t want to have to wash your car!!) and the entire house, which includes a master bedroom amd a roomy queen sized bedroom. We recently added lovely patio furniture. Please find the cushions in the hall closet. When you are through using them please return the cushions to the hall closet. That way they stay clean and out of the range of roosting birds! Enjoy! Other things to note Our master bedroom sleeps 2 guests and our Queen sized bedroom sleeps 2 guests. Both bedrooms have high end mattresses (necar and posture pedic) high quality cotton sheets, a dedicated work space, extra pillows and blankets, 2 nights stands, 2 reading lamps, built in closets with hangars. The king sized bedroom has a safe. You will find the key to the safe in the safe. Please don’t forget to leave it when you check out! Because we are pet friendly, we deep clean the entire cottage after each guest, making sure there are no traces of pets anywhere. Our cleaner runs a TENECO vacuum and wet mop machine over floors in the entire house after each guest, she pays close attention to all touch surfaces, disinfects the bath and kitchen, even dusts the ceiling fans and baseboards! The bedspreads, blankets and pillow shams are either washed or disinfected after each guest. We ❤️ and appreciate her hard work and we know our guests do too because they consistently leave us a 5-star rating for our exceptional standards of cleanliness.
