30 minutes from I95 Enjoy beautiful Sibley Pond in a 2000+ square foot log home with plenty of space for 8 people! The home has numerous rustic decorations and a spacious open living/dining room with vaulted ceilings. Your family can enjoy the scenery, foliage, wildlife, pond and local snowmobile and atv trails. The property has a new dock and a large front yard perfect for lawn games and spending time with family and loved ones. The space OUTSIDE~ Enjoy the large front yard for either playing games or relaxing by the fire pit listening to the loons. There is also a gas grill for BBQ needs. (renters are responsible for filling propane if needed) WILDLIFE: Please respect Maine's wildlife. If your lucky you'll see many bald eagles, Loons, deer, rabbits, fox and even Moose!! Please understand there are lots of bugs and some rodents that may visit as well. Please embrace all of the nature Maine brings us. INSIDE~ Large open kitchen, fully equipped for all your cooking needs. *Full size gas stove/oven *Refrigerator *Microwave *58" smart TV and DVD player *lots of DVDs ****WIFI(slows with to many devices at one time) and great cell service ***Suggested items to bring -Extra toilet paper -Extra Paper towels -K-cups for coffee -Extra fans -Fire wood -Comforter (fall,winter) -Camp chairs -Fishing pole and bait -Water shoes -Life jackets -Beach towels ~HOME QUIRKS~ -Gas for propane grill is always off, so please make sure the tank is turned on, sometimes the ignitor can take a few times to ignite a flame. -Sometimes guest will unscrew front porch lights because of the bug attraction. So if they don't turn on by motion sense try screwing them in. -Bulbs in home seem to blow out from time to time, light fixtures were recently replaced, if you happen to notice a blown bulb please let me know!! **I highly rely on my guest to inform me about anything not noted that may need to be addressed in the home. I want all to have a safe and great experience! Thank you! Guest access Guest access Lake access--Look for the LOON LANE sign. We have a path to access the lake at the front right of the front yard across the road with 10' of beach frontage. 3 kayaks,2 adult and 1 child a pedal boat and a canoe for use. We also have a new dock so bring your fishing gear to help you catch Bass,crappie,white perch and yellow perch!! ****All other lake access is private property!! Only our path and 10' of beach area is available for your use. As always please respect our neighbors. Other things to note WELL WATER- Our well has a threshold, that seems to only turn off with large groups. Showers, dishes and all water usage needs to be limited or spread out as much as possible. As long as you follow the water usage rule there will be no issue. If this is a concern for you,this home may not be best for your rental needs. ~Septic System-only human wastes and toilet paper is acceptable to flush!! RO (Reverse Osmosis) system for drinking water at the sink. Use the RO faucet to the right of the main faucet for drinking and cooking. Holds about 3 gallons of water at a time. Other things to note Dumpster-Located in the back lot behind the driveway of the house. Wood stove-Guest must provide wood. You may use whatever is available during your stay. Fire pit- You can purchase firewood at the local corner store at your convenience. Assumption of liability: if you accept & book a reservation, you assume liability for yourself & your guests for the use of the house, fire pit, wood stove, kayaks, canoe and life jackets etc. at your own risks while on our property. The owner will not be liable for their use. -Please no hunting on/from our property - Please keep noise down after dark and be respectful of neighbors
