The ignitor may take a few tries to light the flame. Occasionally, the front porch lights may be unscrewed by guests due to bug attraction. If the motion sensors don’t activate, try screwing the bulbs back in. Light bulbs in the home occasionally burn out—if you notice any, please let me know so I can address it. Important: I rely on my guests to let me know if anything needs attention during your stay. Your comfort and safety are my priority, and I want you to have an amazing experience here! Thank you for your understanding. Guest access Guest Access: Enjoy direct access to Sibley Pond via our private path at the front right of the yard, across the road, with 10 feet of beach frontage. We provide 3 kayaks (2 adult, 1 child), a pedal boat, and a canoe for your enjoyment. A brand-new dock is also available, so bring your fishing gear to catch Bass, Crappie, White Perch, and Yellow Perch! Note: All other lake access is private property. Please respect our neighbors and use only the designated path and beach area. Other Things to Note: Well Water: Our well has a threshold, so please be mindful of water usage, especially in larger groups. Spread out showers, dishwashing, and water needs to ensure everything runs smoothly. If water conservation might be a concern, this home may not be the best fit. Septic System: Only human waste and toilet paper should be flushed. Please help us keep the system running smoothly! Drinking Water: We have a Reverse Osmosis (RO) system for clean, fresh drinking water. Use the RO faucet (located to the right of the main faucet) for drinking and cooking. The system holds about 3 gallons at a time. Other things to note Additional Information: Dumpster: A blue dumpster marked "Casella" is located at the front of the driveway, just before you reach the house. Please use it for any waste during your stay. Wood Stove: Guests are welcome to use the wood stove but must provide their own wood. Feel free to use any available wood on-site during your stay. Fire Pit: Firewood can be purchased at the local corner store for your convenience. Assumption of Liability: By booking your stay, you assume full responsibility for yourself and your guests regarding the use of the house, fire pit, wood stove, kayaks, canoe, life jackets, and any other equipment. The owner is not liable for any injuries or accidents. No Hunting: Please refrain from hunting on or from the property. Quiet Hours: We kindly ask guests to keep noise to a minimum after dark and be respectful of neighbors.
