The magnificent location on the shores of Samana Bay offers deep blue water at the back of the house and lush green vegetation all around. Nature impresses here every day with its beauty and its power. The Caribbean style of the villa and the simple and tasteful furnishings make it a place where you can escape from everyday life and feel at home. From mid-January to the end of March, you can watch humpback whales in Samana Bay directly from the terrace or pool. The villa has a private outdoor pool and is located directly on the coast of Las Galeras. You can dine al fresco on the large terrace and enjoy panoramic sea views. Barbecue facilities and a grocery delivery service are available for self-catering. A flat-screen TV with satellite channels, free Wi-Fi access, a library and seating sofas can be found in the living room of this open-plan villa. The fully equipped kitchen offers an oven, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, tea maker and picnic supplies. Two dining tables are provided in the villa. The villa has 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms with showers with rain shower heads, free toiletries and hairdryers and 1 guest bathroom. Las Galeras is a small town at the end of the remote Samana peninsula, but it offers plenty of things to do and see. There are several good restaurants in the hills, a few discos and bars in town, great beaches and plenty of excursions to explore the area. The area is very rural, so you will find coffee and pineapple plantations. There are fruit trees everywhere, from mango to papaya, banana and avocado. People here live a very simple life at a slow pace compared to the western lifestyle, they greet each other and take time to listen to each other. This is part of the rural Dominican culture and serenity. Playa Rincon is 14 minutes and Playa Fronton 17 minutes from the house. Samana town centre and the Samana Whale Museum are only 20 km away. Samaná El Catey International Airport is a 50-minute drive away.
