This destination is perfect if you are an outdoor enthusiast, looking for a fun family getaway, or wanting a peaceful place to relax. Conveniently located just 2 ½ hours from both Portland, OR and Seattle, WA, Cabin on the creek, is surrounded by Mt. Rainier National Forest, the Tatoosh Range and the Goat Rocks, making it centrally located near countless world class outdoor recreation options and a great home base for your outdoor adventures. Enjoy downhill skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, hiking, fishing, camping, boating, hunting and more. Located 20 minutes from White Pass Ski Area and 10 minutes from the Steven's Canyon entrance to Mt. Rainier National Forest. Walk 10 minutes down to the Cowlitz River to go fishing. Walk 5 minutes into town for groceries or to enjoy a local restaurant or watering hole. Ultimate relaxation is guaranteed as you listen to the sounds of the creek, watch local wildlife meander by (elk included), soak in the hot tub, and enjoy s'mores by the outdoor fire pit. Hall Creek is quaint, shallow, slow-running and perfectly safe for children (plus tons of fun if they love to catch frogs!).
