Watch the boats go by at Mariner's Rest

Mariner's Rest is the perfect place to create family memories at the Oregon Coast. Wonderful water views overlooking the entry to Tillamook Bay and out to the ocean. Located 4 miles south of Rockaway Beach, Oregon. Enjoy the nautical vibes of our large family home with a view of the entrance to Tillamook Bay. Walk to the Three Graces and Barview Tidal pools. Try your hand crabbing at Kelley's or the Jetty Fishery nearby. Explore Garibaldi, Manzanita, Tillamook, Cannon Beach and beyond! The space Home has 5 bedrooms and 3 baths. There is a bathroom on each floor. The upstairs has the large master bedroom with king bed and pull out double loveseat as well as a second bedroom with full sized bed. The bath upstairs has a 75 year old clawfoot tub/shower. (Although we clean this tub thoroughly it never looks great. Rest assured it is sanitized as is the shower curtain- it's on our list of future upgrades) The main floor has the main living areas, kitchen, and a bathroom with a shower. There is also a bedroom with a full sized day bed and twin trundle. The basement has 2 bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with bunk beds. There is also a bathroom in the basement with a shower. Access to full laundry is in the basement. Off the main floor there is a 300 sq. ft. fully enclosed deck with skylights and wonderful views. The kitchen is fully equipped and ready to serve large groups if you feel like cooking up a storm! Outside we have an awesome fish cleaning station and kid/dog wash with hot and cold water. Not that the entry to the home is up a flight of 10 stairs and the home is three separate floors. Lots of stairs! The stairs going to the basement are curvy and steep. Guest access You will have access to the entire home. The laundry in the house basement is shared with the tenant who lives in a separate apartment over the detached garage. The door between the laundry and the main house is locked. Other things to note The house has 10 stairs to the entrance on the main floor and it is a 3 story home. There is plenty of parking, including boat/trailer/RV parking. We are located on Hwy 101 so there is road noise and a semi consistent foghorn on the end of the jetty at the ocean that you can hear. The train tracks are for the Oregon Scenic Railroad. It runs in summer and holidays and during the day with occasional evening tours. There are Blink cameras pointing outside to the enty and side of house towards parking. There are NO cameras inside the house!
