We offer a SUP, fishing poles, & life jackets & a canoe by the lake. Cabin can sleep up to 6 guests, 2king beds on 2nd floor w/2full baths. Full-size pull-out couch on the first floor accommodates 2 children under 12, $35 fee for parties over 4; 1/2bath 1st floor. Dine under the covered decks or unwind indoors by the cozy fire. Dog :) The space We have the perfect vacation cabin for families, couples, or just good friends! A true Craftsman Cabin and perfect retreat nestled among the pines and just a short walk from the serene shoreline of Vallecito Lake. This cabin features a cozy fireplace to warm your evenings, ensuring a comfortable atmosphere no matter the season. Enjoy the convenience of air conditioning, keeping you cool during warm summer days. Step outside onto the covered deck, where you can relax with a good book or enjoy your morning coffee while taking in the peaceful surroundings. This spacious retreat features two king-size beds on the second floor, providing ample space for restful nights. Additionally, there's a full-size pullout couch on the first floor, perfect for accommodating two children under 12 years. Please note there is a $35 linen fee for guests exceeding four persons or for the use of the pullout, and we also offer a complimentary fold-up play crib. The master bedroom boasts a private bathroom, while the second bedroom has easy access to a hallway bathroom, ensuring privacy and comfort for all guests. The living room offers seating for six, and while the charming ceiling beams can be low in some areas, they add character to the space. Unwind indoors by the cozy stone fireplace in the living-room and stay connected with free Wi-Fi, and enjoy entertainment with Netflix and DVD movies available on the TV. Just a friendly reminder that since we are nestled in the pines, the internet speed may be slower than what you’re accustomed to. Think of it as an opportunity to disconnect from the hustle and bustle and fully immerse yourself in the serene surroundings. Off the living room is a half bath on the first floor, and air conditioning for those warm days. Our sunny kitchen, complete with a dining area that seats four, offers window seating for enjoying the views. The kitchen is stocked with just about everything you'll need to master up meals at the cabin like a chef! You could also enjoy dining under the covered decks fresco style with the charcoal BBQ next to the deck. The cabin is well-stocked with linens, cleaning supplies, personal care products, and all the necessary amenities for cooking. Feel free to reach out with any questions about these items. We're here to help make your stay as enjoyable as possible! The large covered patio features plenty of seating and a charcoal BBQ for alfresco dining, making it an ideal spot for gatherings. Please note that smoking is not permitted inside the cabin, but we do provide a designated smoking bin on the patio for ashes and cigarette butts. Please shut both front doors and have window closed so the smoke does not enter the cabin, and thank you! And, for those looking to explore the lake, we provide a canoe for your adventures, along with fishing poles for a delightful day of angling. Kept at the cabin is a stand-up paddleboard that can be carted to the lake's shoreline; we also supply oars, and standard sized life jackets. Please note- You are responsible for your family's safety, and using any trail or watersport provided, you are doing so "At your own risk". The canoe, SUP and BBQ are not available from the end of October until mid-Spring. Due to the unique landscape, trash companies are unable to use their hydraulic lifts to pick up containers, so we ask that all guests please use the dumpsters located on the main road for your trash disposal. We appreciate your cooperation in keeping our community clean and beautiful. To ensure that your experience is nothing short of exceptional, upon your arrival, I can make every effort to meet with you personally to provide valuable information about the cabin, our neighborhood, and any local attractions you may want to explore. My goal is to make sure your time at the lake is a complete success! And if you would like a self-check-in, no problem, there is a guest book in the cabin that answers most questions about the cabin and give information on local activities. One week before your stay, I will reach out to share the location of the keys, helpful tips on parking, and directions to find the cabin, especially in case you arrive before I do. Other things to note Welcome to our cabin! We want to ensure that you have a wonderful stay, so please take a moment to review our cabin rules regarding pets and cleaning and weather. If you are considering bringing a pet, please let us know, there is a pet fee and pet addendum. If you bring a pet you are agreeing to these terms and there is a $50 fee for 1-2 dogs: Pet Policy: 1. Please note that while we welcome your furry friends, pets are not allowed on the furniture. If you need to leave your pet alone in the cabin, they must be crated and kept indoors, not on the deck. 2. Any flea or tick issues resolve before your stay. 3. Promptly clean up any pet waste from the property, including all living areas, porches, patios, and decks. 4. Keep your pet from causing any annoyance or discomfort to others, and promptly address any complaints regarding your pet. 5. Ensure your pet does not create disturbances or threaten anyone physically. 6. Make sure your pet is up-to-date on all vaccinations. 7. Always supervise your pet when outside. 8. Keep your pet under control at all times. 9. Prevent any damage to the property, and do not leave pets unsupervised in the cabin without being crated. 10. You agree to cover any injury, damage, loss, or expense caused by your pet. 11. The property owner and management are held harmless from any liability arising from your pet's ownership. Cleaning Fee: A cleaning fee has been charged for your stay. However, if the property is left exceptionally dirty and requires additional cleaning time beyond the norm, you will be charged for that extra time.
