Farmette Roquette Upstate Retreat

Welcome to Farmette, mini working flower farm, home and newest project of Atelier Roquette, our food and design event company. The Farmhouse is a 200+ year old home with all the charm and quirks that come with an antique structure! We love it here and hope you will also. We are often on the property tending to the farm, but we never need access to the farmhouse unless there is an emergency. We absolutely value and respect our guests privacy. The space The Farmette Farmhouse is a perfect getaway from the city for your family to gather without being on top of each other. There is plenty of space for everyone to spread out and relax. The working flower farm and gardens are available to enjoy as well as the pool, and the huge screened-in porch with the hot tub, which happens to be awesome in chilly or even snowy weather. (Temperature permitting. Occasionally it is too cold outside to hold temperature above 102.) Guest access Guests are welcome to enjoy the entire property with the exception of barn, storage and shop areas that are separate buildings on site. If we are available and the stars align we may be available to show you around. Otherwise, feel free to wander and enjoy! Please read the detailed instructions about the house on the refrigerator. Please note, we love and welcome animals, but we also need to be strict about any damage or accidents. If there is an accident on any of the furniture or rugs, a damage fee up to replacement value may be assessed. This is because even cleaned up, accidents will lead to other animals choosing same spots to mark. ( we learned by experience before replacing a rug.) We want the house to be animal friendly, and that will work if everyone makes sure there are no problems with their pet's stay. Other things to note Because Farmette is a working flower farm, you may see us or our maintenance person(s) on the exterior tending to the Farmette or in the workshop making repairs to event or farm related items. Old houses are not perfect, that’s why we love them. Should you have any issues during your stay, please notify us. If something should break or need repair we will address these items on a case by case basis. Please do tell us if something breaks, it’s a huge disappointment to arrive back to a bunch of broken items in our home. Please note that we do allow pets to visit, and we do a thorough cleaning between visits, but if you have severe dog allergies, this might not be the right spot. We never want anyone to be uncomfortable!
