Surface Creek Sanctuary - your home away from home

Take a moment to breathe at Surface Creek Sanctuary located right on Surface Creek in Cedaredge. Listen to the water flowing while you sit quietly on the patio, taking in the sky, deer, chipmunks, and the occasional fox that may visit. Or go visit any of the numerous nearby attractions - Grand Mesa, Black Canyon of the Gunnison, our quaint local small towns, ski slopes - there is so much to explore! This is our primary home and we thoroughly enjoy it. We are very proud to offer you this oasis fo The space This is our primary home. Expect that it will not be sterile and bare. We welcome you to any pantry and refrigerator items you may need, and you have full access to all our kitchenware, as well as soap, shampoo, conditioner and hairdryers in the bathrooms. Use our laundry as you need. Play our piano. Use any herbs growing in the boxes on either side of the house. Think of the home as yours while you are there. Towels are yours to use, though we would ask that indoor towels remain indoors and not be used for the hot tub. The hot tub towels are either by the sliding glass door or in the guest hall closet. We are utilizing the upstairs room as our "owner's lock-off" so you won't have access to that room. And we do want to let you know that when not being rented, 2 cats and a dog live in this home (fair warning for those with pet allergies) Guest access Guests will have access to the home through the front door entry. There are multiple other entrances (through the master bedroom, the rear guest bedroom, and the living room sliding glass door) but this key will only open the front door from the outside. Other things to note This home is noted for its cozy living room and open living space. It is a comfortable layout with privacy for all if desired. But this home's real draw is its outdoor living spaces. There is a hot tub for those who wish to use it, and there is a cozy outdoor living area surrounding a warm and inviting fire in our fire table, either down below on the big patio, or near the house on our covered patio. If so inclined, eat a meal at the dining table under the trees and stars. And when you are tired of sitting, take a stroll down Surface Creek Trail just steps from our backyard.
