You can also board from the port on a boat circuit that serves several islands (Ile Madame, Ile d'Aix) and goes as far as Fort Boyard. 5 minutes by car: CHATEAU DE LA GATAUDIERE ADVENTURE PARK, tree climbing, paintball, bubble foot, take a look at the website you will see it is a large very nice area 10 minutes' drive to Ronce-les-Bains: DES SABLES ELECTRIC SCOOTER RENTAL (go to Fat Sand Bike, their equipment is great) a very good plan to discover the great beaches, the forest paths and to walk in a group, be careful it moves fast even on the sand! 10 minutes by car: LA TREMBLADE, the Port à Sec, go there without so much as a second thought if you want to jet ski or rent a boat for a day at sea, David and Séverine are super pro 15 minutes' drive to Ile d'Oléron: ILEO WATER PARK, thrilling slides, hot tubs, sauna, steam room 20 minutes' drive: LA PALMYRE, its zoo, beaches, kitesurfing, sand yachting, windsurfing, paddle boarding, jet skiing, karting, quad biking, and a big Lunapark fairground in the evening
