With 2 family and 1 double canvas yurt and 3 double bell tents, each with private eco-bathrooms, this is a perfect place for a get together. Sleeping up to 16 in real beds with luxury bedding and towels included. You will have sole use of all the amenities so you can really chill out and relax. Here you can get close to nature and relax in the knowledge that you are enjoying a low environmental footprint holiday. With just 6 luxury canvas yurts and bell-tents, the forest encircled wildflower meadow is an ideal place to relax and recharge. Enjoy a leisurely swim in the 11x 5m eco-pool, lounge in a hammock, take a break in our chill-out marquee or relax around a campfire under the starry night sky. For the adventurous, the Haute Charente lakes are just 5 minutes away by car or 25 minutes by bike for water sports, wild swimming, beaches and bars. From adventure parks to Roman baths, there is so much to discover in this unspoilt region. BBQ cooking facilities are provided, or you can skip the chores and treat yourself to home cooked meals made from seasonal home grown and local ingredients. Breakfast and dinner are available to pre-order. With free onsite parking for cars and bikes, we are 50 minutes from Limoges airport or come by train to Angouleme, just 35 minutes away by car. For cyclists, we are just 15 minutes from the GR3 Scandiberique route. The site will be exclusively yours to enjoy. Guest access Guests have access to the whole site including the tree-circle, chill-out marquee, 11x5m eco-pool with loungers, games area, hammocks, cooking areas and on-grid shed. Other things to note We are 10 minutes from the Haute Charente lakes where you can hire paddle boards, kayaks etc from the aquatic centre, relax on the beach or have a drink or meal at one of the bar restaurants. Adrenalin lovers can visit the Massignac Adventure park or go karting just 15 minutes away. Or take a hot-air balloon over the Haute Charente lakes. For history buffs the beautiful chateau of La Rochefoucauld and the Cassinomagus Roman baths are well worth a visit and for foodies there are food markets and eateries galore!
