Rustic Country Apartment on The Moosehead Trail.

We recently acquired the house we live in which has an efficiency apartment in the back. It is cozy and private. The house is old and unique. It was previously a long term rental. We wanted to provide a restful space in the heart of Maine Highlands, the crossroads of Central Maine. We enjoy the scenic area with beautiful lakes rivers, multiuse trail systems and trail head of the 100 mile wilderness of the Appalachian Trail, Moosehead lake, Maine's largest lake, and State Parks. The space This is a small, private apartment looking over a field where wildlife is often seen. We love to watch the wildlife, turkeys, deer, squirrels and birds. We are surrounded by lakes, rivers, and trail systems. We have a beautiful covered bridge 10 minutes away. We provide horse shoes, fire pit and gas grill on request. We also include smart TV, wifi and washer/dryer. Recently we've had a change of neighbors and are not allowing folks to walk "out back" to trails. We suggest our beautiful "River Walk" within a mile of our place. Guest access The property has 2 external doors and is very private. It is located in the back of the house. Other things to note The property has a security light and the unit has its own exterior light.
