Main floor Suite (king) includes a custom fireplace, walk in closet, private screened porch and a spa like ensuite bathroom with dual shower heads and a soaking tub. Many of our reservations are for just one couple and this main floor suite is such a relaxing space. We really feel like we are 'away' when we are up here. 2 & 3. The second floor features two beautiful guest suites (queen bed), each with a generously sized walk in closet (built in shelving, ample hanging space and hangers. The photo worthy bathrooms are gorgeous, spacious settings to get ready, relax and enjoy a moment away and are highlighted by beautiful tile, lighting and fixtures. These bedrooms are private from each other and the rest of the home. The 2nd floor loft lounge area and exterior balcony, combined with these bedrooms makes for a really lovely space for guests. 4. Lower level bunk room is huge and boasts three bunks: two twin over full and 1 twin over futon couch that opens to a full bed (bedding supplied in same room on shelving). An adjacent full bathroom and living room lounge create a fantastic hangout spot. These are 4 real bedrooms, not just a space with a bed added. There is a mountain of pillows to choose from, two for each bed plus an extra 2 in each bedroom (an assortment of 24 to choose from), high end linens and towels and extra blankets available. And more!: Each bedroom has its own sitting area, individual thermostat (radiant in floor heating, it's fantastic), room darkening blinds (shades in bunk room) and two full size dressers in addition to closets making for a comfortable and effortless travel experience. Entertain friends and family: loft living room with lounge & balcony and loads of board games & puzzles; main floor living room with TV, fireplace, abundant seating, beautiful views; and a lower level family room equipped with game rooms (ping pong, pool table, foosball) and a movie/game console lounge space. Take advantage like a group of NCAA skiers who set up their ski-tuning operation in the garage or like a group of outdoor enthusiasts, traveling with 6 custom bikes, 4 bulky golf bags and one sportsman's lifetime collection of fishing gear. All gear was stashed and staged securely and conveniently, allowing our guests to come and go easily between activities. Our home away from home is fully furnished and equipped with more than just the essentials to make this a great getaway for family and friends. A few of the welcome extras include: spice drawer, grill w/propane, kitchen-aid mixer & baking pans, loads of board games & puzzles, picnic basket & beach towels, Sonos speakers & Lutron lighting. All beds are dressed and ready to go, making for an effortless stay in beautiful Lake Placid. Guest access Greystone Lodge is centrally located to shops/restaurants, easy access to skiing, hiking, golfing. 4 car parking: 2 in garage, 2 in driveway. Heated garage with EV charging. Guests have access to Greystone Lodge for their private use. Owners maintain locked closets onsite for personal belongings and kindly ask that these remain locked. Garage items are not for guest use except cabinet marked "For Guest Use". Utility room and backyard shed are not for guest access or guest use. Other things to note FAQ: - Lake Placid permit: 2025-STR-0339 - 2 fireplaces: living room fireplace is wood burning, main floor bedroom fireplace is gas insert. - Children Welcome but please note home is not child proof - we are ideal for multigenerational families or up to three couples with children, or 5 individual adults who aren't sharing beds. If you are a group of more than 5 individual adults you may need to reconsider. - Stone patio furniture and firepit are seasonal and stored for winter conditions - AWD/4 wheel drive highly recommended for winter driving conditions - No smoking cigars, cigarettes, marijuana, no vaping includes our entire premises - indoor plus all outdoor spaces, garage, driveway, lawn, balcony, porches, patio. No smoking inside with the window open or inside garage with the garage door open. Smoke detection deployed. $500 fine and eviction possible with no refund, for smoking on premises. Don't rent our home if you have smokers in your group as they won't be able to resist smoking on the premises as its too cold/dark/rainy/whatever to go elsewhere. There is no convenient spot to smoke near our home; it is all private property and there is a smoking ban on public streets in Lake Placid. -AC units installed in 2nd floor bedrooms, main floor bedroom and main floor living space (summer months). -Parking for up to 4 vehicles (2 in garage, 2 in driveway). No street parking available in our neighborhood, fairly typical of LP. -Weddings/Receptions: we are not permitted for weddings or receptions. Happy to host family and friends though. - Owners maintain locked closets onsite for personal belongings and kindly ask that these remain locked. Garage items are not for guest use except cabinet marked "For Guest Use". Utility room and backyard shed are not for guest access or guest use. - Occupancy: day time use and overnight occupancy limited to amount in reservation. Additional occupants for day use/overnight not allowed beyond what is reserved in the reservation that you made. Please ensure that you have accounted for all guests. - NO PETs allowed. We cannot take pets via AIRBNB. Please don't ask. We will not be able to accommodate you. - wood flooring on main and upper level, tile flooring in lower level (no wall to wall carpeting). - convenient to local golf courses without the hassle of noise from course maintenance early in the morning or environmental issues with proximity. -mid stay clean available, fee applies and depends on what you wish to accomplish. -we are across the street from Mirror Lake and face Mirror Lake Drive, sidewalk across the street is the 2.7 mi Lake Loop. - Greystone_LakePlacid
