The local town of Ashbourne is a must with its lovely market square, country stores, antique shops, art galleries and restaurants. Nearby historic Wirksworth also has lots of individual shops, heritage trail and brilliant Ecclesbourne Valley Railway. Farther afield you will find Chatsworth House and Gardens, Carsington with all its watersports, and many picturesque walks and cycle routes. Entrance takes you in to the kitchen of the property, on ground floor level, then stairs from the sitting room lead down to the lower ground floor.
