The name Wapiti comes from the Shawnee and Cree word meaning Elk. Wapiti Suite is located upstairs. Right at the base of Mount 7 is a world-class destination and part of the iconic Canadian Rockies. The suite overlooks the Purcell Mountain Ranges and the Columbia River. Relax and enjoy the brand new Canadian hand-crafted cedar barrel sauna. The Mount Shadow mountain biking trails is just minutes away. A short 3min drive to Golden town and 15min to Kicking Horse Mountain Resort. The space Wapiti Suite is spacious, bright and will comfortably sleep 1-2, perfect for a couple, 2 friends or a solo traveller. The suite offers a brand new premium Queen bed mattress and 1 full bathtub shower combination. This suite is professionally cleaned. All bedding and towels are washed and tumbled dry at the highest temperature setting. Suite is fully furnished and equipped with amenities for your comfort and convenience. During the hotter days in the summer, we have the brand new portable AC air conditioning located in the open space living room. High mode will be louder but low mode is quiet - effectively cools down the entire suite. There is also an additional stand fan in the living room/kitchen space. Bedroom has another ceiling fan for nice air circulation as well. Enjoy the spa experience at your mountain home away from home. Featuring the brand new 8 ft Canadian made western red cedar outdoor barrel sauna that sits up to 6 people. Convenient self check in with door keypad code provided, available from 4pm onwards. Guest access ✱ During the winter months, 4WD four-wheel drive vehicle with winter tires is recommended. ✱ Guest access to your private suite, the patio with amazing mountain views, shared laundry room on the ground floor located beside the sauna, the shared outdoor sauna and parking upfront. Other things to note ✱ It's one big house with over 5,000 sqft, 3 floors on a 2.21 acre land. Hosts occupy the main floor of the house. You may occasionally hear us but rest assured you won't see us or be seen unless you need us for a reason. You will have your own privacy and the entire private suite.
