Enjoy the amenities the Wolf Laurel Resort has to offer; tennis courts, pickleball, heated pool (seasonal), basketball court, playground, nature trails, numerous creeks, community clubhouse which includes a library, enjoy use of the pavilion and hike the nature trails. The Wolf Laurel Community’s elevation ranges from 3800 to over 5000 feet above sea level. The resort is mostly surrounded by the Pisgah National Forest, with 3 entrances to the Appalachian trail. Wolf Laurel is home to Hatley Pointe Ski Resort, offering beginner to expert slopes. *Ski Resort typically opens the first week of December and closes mid March, weather dependent. We are in the mountains, some cell phone providers do not get the best service. Activating Wi-Fi enable calling is recommended. Unfortunately motorcycles are not permitted in the Wolf Laurel community. Due to the high elevation, temperatures are much cooler on the mountain and typically the ceiling fans throughout the house, box fans, and windows open keep guests comfortable. But please be aware there is no A/C at the cabin.
