We live on the property and are here to address any needs that arise, and we are happy to leave you alone to enjoy your trip as well. The two bedroom, air conditioned home comes with a large and fully equipped kitchen, laundry room, dedicated workspace, game and puzzle cupboard, ROKU smart TVs (that allow you to login to your favorite streaming services and automatically be logged out upon checkout), a freshly renovated bathroom with luxurious shower and enough living and dining room space to relax and spend time with your loved ones. A queen sized pull out sofa in the living room ensures comfortable accommodations for 6. Parties are not allowed in the guest house by enforced city code. Pleasant’s downtown, and a two mile drive across town to the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort, this peaceful residential guest house is in the middle of Michigan and truly in the center of everything that makes Mt. Pleasant special. Stroll through historic neighborhoods as you make your way toward CMU’s campus where Alumni reunions, student orientation, football games, museums and the university’s premiere education programs are just blocks away. A five minute walk takes you downtown, where you’ll find restaurants and bars to suit any need. Dinner and nightlife choices range from upscale date night to college town beer and peanuts. Daytime vibes meet any wishes - from diner to juice bar, from sandwich shops to coffee joints and pizza and hot dogs in between. While downtown, explore the city’s beautiful and accessible park system, with trails winding along the Chippewa River through parks that boast baseball and softball fields, pickleball courts, a splash park for the kids, plenty of gazebos and pavilions to host gatherings and stunning nature views in the middle of our city. The Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort is two easy driving miles east of the guest house, a quick cab ride to the entertainment and excitement the resort has to offer. Additionally, the Soaring Eagle Waterpark and Ziibiwing Center as well as the Mt. Pleasant’s Children’s Museum and the ICE Arena offer plenty of culture and fun. Head west of town just a few miles and find opportunities to rent a canoe or kayak and explore the Chippewa River, or simply hike through one of our many beautiful county parks. (© 2021)
