The space ABOUT THE GROUNDS: Castleton Farms is a sprawling, 500-acre compound at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and Shenandoah National Park with a working animal farm, fishing ponds, and gorgeous views. A five-mile paved footpath spans the property and is perfect for walking, jogging, or biking. Visit the friendly menagerie with emus, horses, goats, chickens, donkeys, and a zonkey. The magnificent Pool House has an indoor pool and hot tub (Additional fee — paid at check-in). ABOUT CASTLETON FARMS: Castleton Farms is a one-of-a-kind estate with luxury amenities and rustic Virginia charm. In addition to the original 1850s Manor House, the property comprises thirteen beautiful guest houses, intimate cottages and large family homes, all discreetly nestled across 500 acres of rolling farmland. Escape from the everyday bustle to a serene haven of unspoiled, breathtaking mountain views. Castleton Farms is the perfect setting for a relaxing weekend, romantic escape, or family reunion. Guest access The house/cottage is private and for guests that have rented this property only Communal and complimentary amenities provided on our 550-acre estate: Each house has access to a pond. We have a catch and release policy. You must bring your own fishing gear. There are three tennis courts, we can provide a small supply of equipment on a first come first service basis. Our Fitness Center is open daily. We have a menagerie of animals for viewing. We offer paved walking paths throughout property Other things to note Children under the age of 1 year old are not counted in guest count/occupancy numbers. Any child over the age of 1 is counted. No smoking allowed inside the house or garage. WE DO NOT PROVIDE SALT/PEPPER, OTHER SPICES, OR ANY OTHER FOOD FOR HUMAN CONSUMPTION IN THE HOUSE DUE TO CONTAMINATION POTENTIAL. Use of the Pool House & Spa is not included in the base rate and is available for an extra fee. Please inquire for pricing. Must have prior approval to bring a pet and there is an additional fee ($75.00) per pet. Any undeclared pet(s) or unleashed pet(s) found in or about the property is grounds for expedited eviction and forfeiture of all monies paid. Maximum weight limit per pet is 65 lbs.
