Our home is located in the vibrant town of Sandy Springs-PRIME location, a small urban suburb 5 min from Buckhead in the North Atlanta area. Minutes from Dunwoody, Downtown Atlanta, and the Atlanta Braves Stadium! City in a Forest! Our two bedroom (715 Sq ft) guest suite is attached to our main house by a closed and locked door. It's completely private, no shared spaces with private entrance! This space is ideal for short stays. The bedrooms and full bathroom are spacious. Please note that the living area is combined with kitchenette (dorm style), therefore expect a small area. PLEASE READ before booking: both larger beds are medium firm/soft. The Queen bed has: New memory foam Queen mattress from Certipur-us. Full siz bed: Has a medium firm memory foam mattress topper. Access to patio, guest suite and parking are all located at the rear of the home. >>There are signs to point guests towards where the apartment is along with detailed check-in instructions. >>Please be advised that the path towards the entrance of the guest suite has a step (that leads to pathway) and pathway made out of garden stepping stones. As a result, small children and anyone with a physical disability might need guidance. The town is filled with great scenic residential communities, recreational areas, sports facilities, and more! We are also only moments away from some of Atlanta’s most well-known areas and venues including Martin Luther King Jr.’s National Historic Center, Atlanta Botanical Garden, Atlantic Station, Centennial Olympic Park, National Center for Civil and Human Rights, World of Coca-Cola, Georgia Aquarium, State Farm’s Arena (Atlanta Hawks), Mercedes-Benz Stadium (Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta United), Truist Park (Atlanta Braves) and much more! In our opinion, driving a vehicle is the best and most convenient way to get around; however, public transit is an option. The MARTA is Atlanta’s main hub for public transit (buses and trains) MARTA’s nearest train station to our home is a station titled “The Medical Center,’ which is located on the Red Line. There is limited parking with 200 spaces and no overnight parking. The surrounding area includes 3 hospitals: (Northside Hospital, St. Joseph’s Hospital, and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite). The MARTA 5 Bus runs along Roswell Road (nearby the apartment) and can take one south to Buckhead or north further into Sandy Springs and Roswell. There are also plenty of sidewalks for those who want to take a stroll in the vicinity. Guests are NOT allowed to drive REVERSE on the driveway at any time! The driveway is steep and difficult to navigate. Only vehicles that belong to the guests are able to access driveway. For guests who are getting a ride via Uber/Lyft, taxi, cab, or from friend/family, the driver must stop at entrance to driveway near mailbox. TRASH: The city of Sandy Springs does not require compost or recycling for residents. You must do this on your own. There is a large black trash bin located outside of the guest suite apartment for your use. NO PARTIES or loud music. You are a guest in our home. Please be mindful of this. As noted in another area of our listing as required by Airbnb, we have cameras in multiple places around the exterior of our home as a way to protect ourselves, our dog, our guests, and our home.
