Close to Windham Mountain (5 minutes) and Hunter Mountain (20 minutes). This home is on a quiet road with seasonal mountain views in the heart of Windham. Just 2 miles away from Main Street, close to restaurants, antique shops, skiing, hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding and much more. Our home has a large open floor plan, vaulted ceilings, floor to ceiling stone fireplace enjoyable from living room. Large open kitchen with island is great for cooking and entertaining. The space Our home is filled with love and is a great getaway from the everyday busy life of NYC and other city life. The house sits on just over 3 acres of private woods and open area. We come here to relax and enjoy all the beauty the Catskills have to offer. Cozy up with a book on the back deck while listening to the birds chatter and open the windows to hear the sounds of pure nature. Adults and children can enjoy mountain biking, hiking, swimming, fishing, nearby horseback riding and of course skiing in the winter. Our large master suite has a spectacular master bathroom and private balcony/sitting area with seasonal mountain views and workstation if you need to get some work done. The second bedroom on the top floor has a queen bed and ensuite full bathroom. On the lower level you have a Queen size bedroom and a Full size bedroom on first floor. There is a shared full bathroom here as well. Our den off the kitchen has an, electric fireplace and pull out sofa bed. We have reliable and fast Wi-Fi for streaming, remote working and school work. The balcony off the master suite has desk, monitor, printer and scanner. Just bring your laptop if you need to multi-task on vacation. Our home has a whole house electric generator so don't ever worry about being stuck in the dark! Our home also has a whole house top rated water filtration system. No horrible tasting water. Our system provides potable water from all faucets in the house as well as additional filtered water from the refrigerator. Please enjoy the use of our firepit in the yard, BBQ, Cornhole and Horseshoes. Our property is just over 3 acres through the adjacent tree filled lot, great to explore with the kids. We also have a great tree swing near the front yard. We have plenty of outdoor seating around the fire pit, on the deck and an outdoor dining area. We are pleased to share our home with you as guests of our home, we just ask that you please treat our home with love and respect as we have made every effort to make your stay comfortable and memorable. Guest access Entire house Other things to note We have a few simple house rules that we ask that you abide by during your stay at our home. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me. House Rules: Absolutely no smoking indoors at our home. If you choose to smoke, please go outside and dispose of cigarettes properly. • Please no parties, this is our personal home and we ask you to treat it with respect. We also want to be respectful to our neighbors as sound travels easily in the country. • Please remove your shoes. Because of the rural roads and with winter snow, shoes get dirt and grit in the house. Our home has beautiful pine floors and light carpet in the bedrooms so please help us in keeping our floors beautiful by removing your shoes. • If you break something, please let us know as a courtesy. Airbnb does have insurance for us but we would need to work out the damages or file a claim within 14 days. • DO NOT LEAVE FOOD OUTSIDE EVER, there are beautiful black bears in this area that love to visit if food is left outside. Please use the garbage pail in the garage with the secure lid. Please note, we have a ring security camera that will remain on during your stay. The security camera is attached to the garage and front door. Views are of the front of the house only. Operation Tips/Instructions are located in the welcome book upon arrival. Check Out Procedures: • Please strip all sheets from the bed and leave on the floor. • Please place all used towels in shower or tub. • Please place all garbage inside the large garbage bin in the garage. Recycling pail is located in the garage. Glass, plastic bottles, cardboard and aluminum all go in the Recycling pail. • Please take with you or dispose of all food you brought and placed in the refrigerator and pantry. • Please place all dishes you used in the dishwasher and run it before you leave.
