Welcome to the Red Chalet, my charming and eclectic chalet only 2 miles from Mt Snow. With a Scandinavian style fireplace, oversized hot tub, fire pit, it's the perfect place for large families and groups to enjoy a relaxing getaway. Sitting on top of a small hill yet easily accessible off a paved road, this new to Airbnb home offers privacy and seclusion yet only mins to Mt Snow, Wilmington, swimming/ boating at Harriman Reservoir as well as hiking, golf, biking, breweries, and more! The space What I love about the chalet is the light. With oversized east and west facing windows in the large open living room, there is a constant stream of light - even when it's snowing. There are six bedrooms. Downstairs : Bedroom 1 - Queen, Bedroom 2 - Queen + twin, Upstairs: Bedroom 3 - Queen + TV, Bedroom 4 - Queen, Bedroom 5 & 6 - two twins. Dressers and hangers available in every bedroom for your belongings. Living area (upstairs): The open space design lends itself to warm family game nights or movies on our Smart TV with access to Netflix, PrimeVideo, Apple TV, Hulu, Disney+, HBO and more. High-speed WiFi allows you to connect to the real world even during your getaway. Internet speeds are 53mbps A bar area provides you with all the wine & beer glasses. Just BYOB. Our favorite part, the center wood-burning fireplace, with firewood, keeps you warm on those cold Vermont winters. Indoor Hot Tub Room Oversized hot-tub for six people Outside Our backyard is offers 1 acre of privacy and seclusion in a natural setting. Firepit, outdoor deck for warm Vermont summers. Charcoal grill for outdoor cooking Kitchen and Dining areas (downstairs): A Keurig coffee and hot chocolate station, stocked with a small selection of pods for the first morning. We maintain a fully equipped kitchen with an 8- quart crockpot, pots, pans, bakeware, toaster, dinnerware, etc. There is a four-burner stove, full-sized oven, dishwasher, and sink, as well as dish soap and dishwasher soap. We provide essentials such as paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags and for the first couple days. After that guests are responsible for getting their own. Some condiments/spices are available for guest use during their stay. Large dining table with bench and seats for 8 - 10 comfortably. Bathrooms: There are two full bathrooms. We provide hairdryers, towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and toilet paper. Other amenities: Large washer and dryer. Ski coats rack Poker set, boardgames & books. We have a lending library. Pets: *If you are traveling with your furry friends, let us know as we would like to approve individual cases (We will charge an additional cleaning fee if you are traveling with pets).* As suggested by Airbnb, we are ensuring 24 hours downtime between guests and taking extra precautions to disinfect all surfaces. Guest access Please note that our driveway is on a slope. During the snow season, plowing is provided for the driveway and shoveling on the stairs to the house from the driveway. We strongly recommend parking your cars at the bottom of the driveway closest to Bluebrook Road during the winter months in case of snowfall so that your cars can get out of the driveway safely. Other things to note * Primary Renter must be 26 and over ( we welcome of course families with children) * Closer to the check-in date a House manual will be sent to all guests with tips and tricks about the house, local recommendations etc. * This is not a party house and we discourage groups larger than 12 people. We have external cameras and will monitor access to the property to ensure safety and compliance * Hot tub is available all year round
