The space Not your average rental property, this colorful mid-century modern home (circa 1959) is designed to be the ideal vacation destination. Clean and uncluttered, we kept the mid-century details like original wood floors, beamed ceiling and colorful vintage tile in the bathrooms, and updated the kitchen and living spaces to make this a relaxing family tropical getaway for you and your pet! In the three bedrooms, you'll find comfortable mattresses, 100% cotton bed linens and blackout window shades for a good night's sleep. One bedroom has a king-sized bed, attached bathroom with colorful vintage tile, TV, and a double closet. The queen and twin bedrooms both have spacious closets and comfortable beds. The shared bathroom has a combination tub/shower and is still tiled in the wonderful original colorful vintage tile from the 1950s! Working remotely? No problem! There's high speed internet throughout the house and we also provide a desk and desk chair upon request. Work a few hours then jump in the pool at the end of your work day! The well-stocked kitchen has everything a cook could want including quality pots and pans, microwave oven, electric kettle, coffee maker, toaster oven, blender, dishware, serving bowls, and cooking basics like olive oil and spices. There's also an outdoor gas grill for barbecuing. The property has a washer and dryer for guests' use in the attached garage. The heated pool (*heating is optional and a fee applies) is just outside the comfortable screened-in porch. Enjoy a drink, play games, or just hang out on the porch with your private pool only steps away. Outside on the patio surrounding the private pool, guests can sunbathe on chaise lounges or jump in the water and spend the afternoon relaxing on floats in the Florida sunshine. (* Out of consideration for neighbors, we ask guests to enjoy themselves INSIDE or in the screened-in porch after 11 pm. Please no splashing in the pool, music or loud conversation outside by the pool after 11 pm *) Next to the pool there's a lawn you can use for a game of catch, corn hole, or even have a picnic. Pets are allowed and the backyard is entirely fenced in. We also provide guests with a list of pet-friendly places in the area. If you like boating, there's a public boat and fishing dock five minutes away with immediate access to the Gulf. And if you're bringing your boat, trailer or RV, there's plenty of room to park in the driveway. We've tried to think of everything big and small to make this the perfect tropical destination but if there's anything else you need just ask! NOTE: We highly recommend guests purchase travel insurance so they’re covered in case they have to cancel outside the refund window. Guest access Guests will have full and private access to the entire house, pool and property. Other things to note If you would like the pool heated during your visit, please let us know at least 24 hours before check in. Please note: pool heating needs to be on - or off - for the entire stay. A daily pool heating fee will apply. Only 6 guests total to spend the night please. In addition, no smoking or candles anywhere on the property. Pets permitted and an additional pet fee will apply.
