Nestled in the trees and ferns ½ mile from the nearest road you’ll find the oldest lodge on the Vanderkamp property overlooking a private 50-acre lake. Langston has been carefully renovated and restored to introduce modern comforts while celebrating the primitive origins of the lodge. Cross the threshold and step back in time as the warm wood interior greets you and everything from the stone fireplace to the kitchen cabinets to the bathroom vanity have been hand crafted from materials found on site. Langston is a one room open plan lodge with King bed that offers most the amenities of a modern luxury escape while wrapped in the rich history of a bygone era. If you wake up early and make a pot of locally roasted French Press coffee, you can sit on the front porch listening to the woodland birds prepare for the day.
