Have a morning stroll along the lane to the local café for breakfast or laze away an afternoon by the mere. Bakewell, just ten minutes’ drive away, is surrounded by many holiday attractions. Chatsworth’s fantastic house, gardens and adventure playground and tranquil Haddon Hall are not to be missed. Parsley Hay’s cycle hire, Peak Rail’s steam trains, Matlock Bath’s cable cars, Crich's tramway museum, Castleton’s caverns, and Peveril Castle standing proud on its ramparts, are not much further afield. The property is on the first floor, accessed via an internal staircase; the barn’s ground floor is used by the owners for storage and facilities for their B&B business.
