Spacious 1 bed 1 bath unit on the 1st floor in a grand building with 100-year history. Sleeps up to 4 guests with a King bed and two floor mattresses (upon request). An extra fee applies to the 3rd and 4th guests. New floor and carpet, 65" HDTV, window ACs, floor heaters, refrigerator, dining table, microwave, coffee maker, kitchenware, washer and dryer. The space Extra fee applies for the 3rd and 4th guests. The house was built in 1919 and is located in an established neighborhood at north entrance of beautiful Oleander/Sunset near the heart of downtown Bakersfield. This entire apartment unit is furnished for Airbnb community. The host is not on site but available any time you need support. ✔This 1 bath 1 bedroom unit (980 sq. ft.) offers speedy check-in using a guest specific code on keyless entry system and speedy log-in to Wi-Fi via QR code. ✔Relaxing living room (210 sq. ft.) with wall-mounted 65" widescreen voice remote Fire TV, sofa, floor mattress, reading light, coffee table. ✔144 sq. ft. cozy bedroom with an upholstered king-size bed with memory foam mattress, nightstands & lights with USB, LED-lighted magnifying makeup mirror, and black-out noise cancelling curtains. ✔Bright full bathroom with towel bar & rack. ✔Kitchen (90 sq. ft.) is equipped with a microwave, cooking stove, Brita Water Pitcher in the brand-new refrigerator, and essentials such as coffee maker, pot, pan, utensils, and condiments. ✔Dining table and chairs in 130 sq. ft. dining area. ✔A brand-new 4.2 cu. ft. washer and dryer are located in 30 sq. ft. laundry room. Guest access Entire apartment unit is accessible for guests. Other things to note BOOKING FOR YOURSELF Booking must be made by the person who stays. Please provide an accurate number of guests at booking. If unauthorized people are discovered, fees for each extra guest and/or cancellation w/o refund may be incurred. CRAFTSMAN HOUSE The house is old and therefore may not support the use of multiple appliances at the same time. In particular, please do not use the floor heaters, hairdryer, toaster or microwave at the same time. SERVICE ANIMAL POLICY While we would prefer to keep the property an animal-free zone as described on our house rules, per Airbnb Terms of Service, we can’t deny your stay based on your bringing a Service dog. I am permitted to ask you these two questions as per Airbnb service animal policy guidelines: * Is the assistance animal required because of a disability? * What work or task has the animal been trained to perform? Please provide the answer to these questions in your response. We would also like to highlight our strict guidelines for guests accompanied by their Service Animal/ESA: * A service dog staying on our property is NOT allowed to be left unattended at the property at any time during your stay. You can NOT leave him alone in a crate as well. You must take the animal with you anytime you leave the house. * As the animal owner, you are liable for any damage caused by your accompanying service animal. If there is damage or a need for additional cleaning due to your stay, you will have to pay additional charges. * Please be aware that we will cancel your reservation of you and your Service Animal/ESA if we discover misrepresentation of a pet as a Service Animal/ESA. In such cases, we will also report fraudulent claims of service animals to government authorities and evict the guest(s) without further notice. In such circumstances, there will be no right to a refund. * Please provide an advanced copy of your service animal/ESA’s rabies vaccine (current through your stay) in the response email. * Your service animal/ESA must be on a leash or under control of verbal or sight commands at all times. * We will ask you to remove your service animal/ESA from the property if the animal is out of control and you cannot control it effectively. * We will also ask you to vacate the premises if the animal is not housebroken. * Please walk your service animal/ESA outside for bathroom needs. We strictly prohibit indoor piddle pads. You can walk the dog around (location). * Please clean up the defecations immediately. Please bring your own disposal bags and dispose of them in the trash barrel at the bask of the house. * Don’t let your Service animals/ESAs sit on furniture (sofa, chairs, bed) or counters unless it is specifically needed for your disability.
