Located in a side street off the delightful Harbour Street, this quirky cottage (which was formerly the town’s sweet shop) is in the perfect position to enjoy all that Whitstable has to offer. It is just yards from the independent boutique shops, the pubs, cafes and restaurants, and also yards from the beach and harbour. The space The decor is an eclectic mix of nautical, film and music and offers a cosy sitting room with log-burner, an open-plan dining room with door to the enclosed patio garden, kitchen and downstairs bathroom with bath and walk-in shower. Upstairs are two double bedrooms with a third twin bedroom being on the second floor. So, whether you want to be out and about on the water or on the beach, listening to live music, exploring the local arts and crafts or simply chilling at the cottage, this property is the ideal base. Bannister rail to first floor, rope to second floor. Notes: A travel cot and highchair are available on request. The second-floor twin room is not suitable for toddlers or people with mobility issues due to the steep stairs Out and About: Whitstable has a myriad of things to entertain visitors. The working harbour has a fish market and takeaway fish stalls, boat trips are available to the iconic sea forts and wind farms. Water sports are also available in peak summer months. The town is a web of old alleyways to explore and the vibrant music and arts scene mean that there is always something happening year-round. Further afield is the historical City of Canterbury with the medieval cathedral, and Faversham with the romantic creek and bustling markets.
