The space The Authentic Off-Grid Experience Birch Haven is a place to slow down and live simply. The Surroundings: Watch moose feed in front of the cabin at dawn or dusk, and end your days with stunning sunsets over the water. Back to Basics: This cabin has no running water or indoor plumbing. We provide an outhouse and water jugs for you to carry in your supply. Adventure at Your Doorstep On the Water: Explore nearby ponds, brooks, and streams with the included canoe and 12-foot aluminum boat. For the Sportsman: Located in Moose Hunting Zone 5 (and very close to Zone 10), the area is a prime destination for hunting and fishing enthusiasts. Explore Baxter: You are just 7 miles from the northern entrance of Baxter State Park, home to rugged hiking trails and untouched landscapes. Cabin Features Room for the Crew: Three bedrooms featuring a Queen bed, two Full-size beds, and a Twin bed. Full Kitchen: A fully stocked kitchen with a propane stove and refrigerator allows for easy meal prep. Essentials: We provide all linens (sheets and towels). Nearby Amenities: Shin Pond Village (7 miles away) offers seasonal coin-operated showers (May–November), water fill stations, UTV rentals, and a local restaurant.
