We welcome you to our house Skäggvattnet. The house is quietly located in the middle of the wilderness of Lapland surrounded by meadows and forests and 900 m from Lake Skäggvattnet. The terrace in front of the house invites you to enjoy a cozy breakfast in the morning sun or to watch the northern lights with a cup of mulled wine. A glazed porch adorns the entrance. The traditional Swedish house has everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Relaxation and tranquility are guaranteed here. The space The house is equipped with a large cozy dining area, right next to the well-equipped kitchen, with stove, oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, egg cooker, large fridge and freezer. A wood-burning stove provides cozy warmth, with which the whole house can be heated. In addition, electric radiators are installed in the rooms and underfloor heating in the bathroom and hallway. In the living room is a large cozy couch for the whole family, a 43" smart TV provides entertainment. Free Wi-Fi is available. In the bathroom there is a large bathtub and a shower, also a washing machine and dryer. Right next to the bathroom is a cool room that is suitable for storing food. A large wood-fired sauna, with fantastic views of the large meadow and the northern lights, is located on the edge of the forest behind the house. It can be used by appointment. Various sauna fragrances are available. Upstairs are two bedrooms with large wardrobes, one bedroom has two cozy single beds and the other bedroom a double bed. In the anteroom of the bedrooms there are two more single beds. In the glazed veranda there is plenty of space to sit outside even in bad weather or to dry or store your sports equipment. A spacious infrared cabin invites you to relax on the porch. Two high chairs and two cots can be used. The terrace has a spacious table and two sun loungers invite you to sunbathe. The terrace and garden are fenced, so toddlers and dogs can play freely. A children's swing hangs between the trees. Around the house there are 1.5 acres of flower meadow, which turns into a sea of flowers in the spring. In winter you can go skiing in Kittelfjäll about 50 km away, There are also many cross-country ski trails in the surrounding area. The stunning winter landscape of Lapland invites you for extensive snowshoe hikes and walks. The wood-fired tree house sauna and the infrared heat cabin invite you to relax and enjoy wellness. Ice fishing is possible at the nearby lake. With a little luck, you can watch the northern lights right in front of the cabin by the campfire or from the sauna. A snowmobile rental and provider of sled dog tours is also in the region and makes an extensive ride through the snowy winter landscape an unforgettable experience. A cozy barbecue hut for barbecuing together, even at high minus degrees, is right next to the house and can be used at any time. A rowboat is available at the nearby lake Skäggvattnet and can be used for boat trips and fishing free of charge. Fishing is excellent in Lake Skäggvattnet. This is where fishing dreams come true. In summer and autumn, the area is full of colors and long days. You can go mountain biking and beautiful hikes in the mountains, go fishing, collect mushrooms and berries and make a campfire and grill in front of the house at the fire pit. Snowshoe and cross-country ski rental by arrangement. On the farm there is a vacant spacious kennel for up to 30 sled dogs. The kennel facility can be rented by arrangement for the accommodation of sled dogs. Guest access Parking is available right in front of the house at the farm. The carport can be used. Other things to note The guest cleans the house upon departure. You will have to bring bed linens and towels. (A package for 200 kr/person, with bed linen and two towels can be rented) Pets are allowed, but are not allowed on chairs, couch, beds or blankets. (Dog droppings must be removed). Fishing on the lake, Good places for mushrooms and berries on the premises. Good opportunities for animal observation (moose, wood grouse, black grouse). The property borders state land in the mountains where you can buy hunting and fishing permits. This is several hundred thousand hectares of small game and fishing land.
