Kennebec Lake Family Waterfront Cottage

This year round cottage will sleep 8 comfortably. It has Wifi and two 4K smart TV’s. There is over 1000' of shoreline on Kennebec Lake that offers fantastic kayaking, fishing and boating opportunities. There are hiking trails and a long cottage road for walking and biking. During winter, ice skating, snowmobiling and ice fishing are very popular. ***The use of 3 kayaks and a stand up paddle board are also included during your stay*** The space The Cottage (3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms) Please note the cottage is heated by a Nest central air propane furnace. It includes three bedrooms, one with a king, one with a queen, one with two twin bunk beds. INTERNET SERVICE: Wifi is included at the cottage. KITCHEN: Refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, oven, barbecue, full set of dishes, pots and pans, cutlery, glasses, Keurig coffee maker, regular coffee maker and wine glasses. Dishwasher and dish soap, paper towels, garbage bags, cleaning supplies, broom, and vacuum. Some spices are included, but please bring condiments. LIVING ROOM: 55” 4K Smartcast LCD TV. BEDROOMS (3): Sheets, pillows, blankets, and lights. BATHROOMS (2): Towels, toilet paper, cleaning supplies, and hair dryer. WALKOUT BASEMENT: Full washroom with bath tub, 50" 4K smart TV, card table, dartboard, foosball table, air hockey table, washer, dryer and soap for the washer (it is a front-load). OUTSIDE: Large dock with table and 3 lounge chairs, four decks, sun room, BBQ, fire pit, hiking trails, long cottage road for walks or biking (3.7 km). Assorted lounge and Muskoka Chairs. 3 kayaks and a stand up paddle board are also available for use (weather permitting). Guest access There is lots of room for parking at the cottage. We have dedicated space for boat, snowmobile and ATV trailers as well. Other things to note Water levels inside our bay regularly fluctuate based on how much rain we receive. This means if the water is low, boating and swimming while possible may not be ideal. The good news is, the use of the kayaks and paddle board are great inside the bay regardless of water levels. For deeper water, you just have to go beyond our point to the mouth of the bay where the depth drops to 30’. Winter weather can impact access to the property. The road association plows and sands the road all the way to the front of the cottage. However, 4wheel drive vehicles are recommended. Outdoor furniture, docks and kayak/SUP use may also be limited based on seasonal weather. During the summer season we may occasionally be on the property at our guest cottages (located separately at the beginning of the property). This will not have an impact on your privacy or use of the property.
