Guest access This apartment offers self-check-in and controlled access. 1. Collecting Your Key You will find a key inside the lockbox at the entrance. Use the code provided to open the lockbox and take the key. 2. Opening the Metal Gate to the Apartment Use the key on the metal gate lock: Turn the key counterclockwise two times Then pull the latch located behind the lock to open the gate 3. Entering the Apartment Enter the smart-lock code provided to unlock the apartment door. 4. Locking the Apartment Door When inside, you can lock the door by simply turning the knob behind the door. Other things to note Power Outages (Important – Please Read Carefully) Puerto Rico occasionally experiences sudden and unpredictable power outages due to the island’s infrastructure. These outages are beyond our control. The building does NOT have power back-up generator. Each apartment is equipped with a flashlight and a battery-powered emergency lamp, which will operate for only a few hours during an outage. Refund Policy for Power Outages • Short or brief outages are common in Puerto Rico and do not qualify for refunds, especially when they are not caused by major events. • In the rare case of a prolonged or extended outage that significantly impacts your stay, we will issue a refund for the remaining nights so you may relocate if needed. Our goal is to be fair while maintaining clear and realistic expectations for guests visiting Puerto Rico. _______________________________________ Early Check-In Policy Early check-ins may be requested up to two days before arrival and are not guaranteed. If approved, early check-ins before 3 PM incur a fee of $25 per hour, starting as early as 8 AM. _______________________________________ Late Check-Out Policy Late check-outs may be requested within two days of departure and are subject to availability. Approved late check-outs after 11 AM incur a fee of $25 per hour or any portion of an hour. Important: Late check-outs without prior approval will result in a $100 fee, as this disrupts the cleaning team’s schedule and preparation for incoming guests. _______________________________________ Time Zone Puerto Rico operates on Atlantic Standard Time (AST).
