Complete serenity awaits you at Cabin on the Rocks! This 3 bedroom, 3 bath authentic log cabin is located on a private hillside overlooking the Watauga River and a peaceful pasture. It offers many year-round adventures just a short drive away. Spend the day browsing the streets of Boone, Banner Elk or Blowing Rock, enjoying a glass of wine at the Grandfather Vineyards, on a bike or hiking trail and of course the local ski resorts. Then unwind after a day of fun in your own hot tub. The space We are so excited to share our home away from home with you! We were completely taken by the beauty off the full-length decks before we ever even went inside! The winter season gives a complete view of the hillside and pasture, the spring is full of wildflowers, the summer you feel like you’re in your own tree house, and then the fall is full of orange, reds and golds. You will have a private location but be only 10-15 miles from all that's special about this area. With a gas fireplace, Smart TVs in the living room, bonus room and each bedroom, and fully stocked kitchen you'll have all the comforts of home. Enjoy cooking outside on the grill if you want to stay in for the night. There are full length decks on 2 levels and also a bonus room downstairs that offers another cozy spot perfect for the kids and a foosball table on the deck off that room. We have stainless steel appliances, quality linens and towels, and a clean, cozy cabin vibe. We promise it won't disappoint and it will be a home you want to come back to year after year! The hot tub and fire pit areas are magical and such an awesome way to wind down the day. The fire pit is a smokeless Solo that is great for s’mores. Guest access Once you have booked your stay, we will provide you with a personal code of your own for access to the cabin. Other things to note We have fiber internet service so it’s super fast if you have to mix a little business with pleasure...or just for pleasure! Although rarely needed, there are window A/C units during the warmer months in all bedrooms and the main living area. Please note that the main living area is on the middle floor so there are quite a few stairs to climb for the top two levels.
