Cozy Lakefront Cottage located on Sparrow Lake is the idea of relaxation. Enjoy the stunning sunsets while lounging on the large deck with a beverage in hand. The loons singing in the background. Perfect to enjoy with the whole family or on a couples retreat. The area is perfect for boating, fishing, walking, and biking around the neighbourhood. A mini toboggan hill Sparrow Lake is part of the Trent-Severn Waterway and you can boat to either Georgian Bay or Lake Couchiching in a few hours The space This newly renovated cottage has vaulted cathedral ceilings with floor-to-ceiling glass doors and windows which allows the interior to be flooded with natural light in the main living area and kitchen. The 1000sq ft open concept bunglow is perfect for relaxing, cooking and eating. There are three bedrooms. One bedroom has a double bed, the second has a double bed and the third has bunk twin beds. There is two-piece bathroom and another with a tub/shower and sink. Guest access The cottage, two decks, private dock, firepit and waterfront and road front property is all yours to enjoy while staying at Sunset Bay Cottage! Also you have access to, kayak,canoe and paddle boat! Other things to note Just a few things to mention- Our cottage is located in the country and with that comes mosquitos, insects and other animals. Welsh Bay is shallow and has weeds. You can jump and swim off the dock which is around 3 or 4 feet deep, but it does get weedy about 15 feet out. There are also great places to swim like Deep Bay which can be accessed by boat. Also there is a train that goes by across the lake which you might hear. There are chickens next door. NO rooster we promise! They will cluck when they lay an egg because they are excited and proud of themselves. You are welcome to visit them anytime, they love veggie scraps.
