Description
An idyllic, beautifully furnished home located in the charming village of Corea. A great getaway located on the quiet side of Acadia NP, w/close access to the Schoodic section of Acadia. Our area offers great walking, hiking, & biking trails and just pure relaxation. You are within walking distance to the harbor to a local seafood takeout owned by your hosts (Bell Buoy Seafood) a short walk to a private beach, or join one of our lobster boat tours and get the true Coastal Maine experience. The space This charming home has a idyllic feeling, each room is tastefully decorated. We have a very well equipped modernized kitchen, a cozy sitting room and a nice size dining area for entertaining. The screened in enclosed porch is great to enjoy evenings in the summer away from the mosquitos, to play games, have a glass of wine, or read a book. In the fall we put glass panels in the enclosed porch so to still utilize the wonderful space and enjoy the electric fireplace on a cool fall evening. We have the deck/patio area that you can enjoy the small cocktail table and comfy chairs on the deck or enjoy gazing at the stars and a warm fire in the firepit on the stone patio. Guest access All areas of the property are accessible except the basement & garage Other things to note All of our guests staying for 3 nights get an included "Catch Your Dinner" Lobster boat tour for 2 guests. If you stay a week with us, we will include a tour for up to 4 guests. The tour is located right here in the village of Corea. The season runs from Memorial Day until the first weekend in October. Our takeout (The Bell Buoy) is seasonal as well. All linens & towels are washed & dried with scented laundry detergent and fabric softener sheets, if requested in enough time we can make sure everything is done with unscented detergent & dryer sheets.
