The origin of the Tgiesa Pestaluzz, which is located in the center of the Lain district, facing south next to the church, dates back to 1675. In 2016, the historic Walser house underwent extensive renovation and today shines again in new splendor. The original character of the Walser house with different room heights and low doors has been preserved and supplemented by contemporary elements. Particular emphasis was placed on comfort and functionality in the new elements of the building services as well as the kitchen and wet rooms. The house has five floors with a total area of over 300 m². The living and dining room with the old kitchen on the 2nd floor form the center. The seven large and comfortably furnished bedrooms (20 beds), with different spatial character and the combination of old and new building fabric, offer sufficient retreat possibilities. From the dining room as well as from the cozy living room you can directly access the balcony terrace, which extends almost over the entire south and half east side of the house. From here you can enjoy a fantastic panoramic view of the Albula Valley and the wide mountains. After a day of skiing in one of the largest ski resorts of Lenzerheide-Arosa or in the Nordic Center, an extensive bike tour, hike or a swimming trip to Lake Heidsee, you can relax in the in-house sauna, which is located in the oldest part of the house, while the children linger in the play corner on the gallery or in the nearby playground.
