This traditional two bedroom cottage is situated on the edge of the Peak District National Park only 5 minutes drive from the centre of Holmfirth and 20-minute walk. The property enjoys an elevated position with beautiful views across the Holme Valley, fields and woodland areas. Inside there are two bedrooms, a double bedroom and Kingsize bedroom with single sofa bed; a cosy living/dining room with modern day touches such as Wi-fi and Smart TV; kitchen and storeroom. Outside the property has off road parking for two cars on the driveway; a generous sized garden with patio area where you can simply relax and unwind. Holmfirth and the surrounding areas are home to some of the most beautiful scenery in the Yorkshire Pennines and most recognisable as the location for the record breaking ’Last of the Summer Wine’ TV series. Exploring the picturesque town you’ll discover a wide range of amenities, shops, bars, restaurants as well as the renowned live music venue The Picturedrome. There are miles of open countryside, public footpaths, reservoir walks to explore for walking enthusiasts and cycling enthusiasts can recreate routes from the Tour de France 2014 and the Tour de Yorkshire; Wine enthusiasts can visit Holmfirth Vineyard for tasting and afternoon tea. Being located on the edge of the Peak District National Park means there’s ample walking and cycling opportunities with miles of open countryside to explore.
