Our spacious apartment "Ybbsperle" offers you everything you need for a relaxing stay with up to 4 people on 80 m². Due to its quiet, central location in the middle of the beautiful Alpine foothills, you can enjoy your vacation here from the beginning. The apartment is also very suitable for guests without a car. Other things to note The vacation apartment "Ybbsperle" is located on the 2nd floor overlooking the Buchenberg. The city center with numerous shopping opportunities, cozy pastry shops and restaurants is within a 6-8 minute walk. The local train station (hourly connection to Vienna) and a bus stop are within walking distance, as are a delicatessen, a Billa supermarket and the "Puntiwirt" inn. In addition to the central anteroom with wardrobe, storage box, dresser and large mirror, the 80 m² apartment has a cozy living room with a spacious dining area and sideboard with flat-screen TV (satellite TV) and CD/DVD player. The bedroom is equipped with two single beds (can also be combined into a double bed as needed), a large wardrobe with sliding doors, a utility corner with a vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board and a drying rack. In addition to the bedside lamp, each bed has a mobile, adjustable and dimmable reading lamp. The bathroom with two windows has a tub and shower as well as a washer-dryer, laundry collector, and a cabinet with hand and bath towels. The vacation apartment is located at the beginning of the Ybbsuferweg. Via this idyllic path under steep, high rocks along the Ybbs, you can reach the city center in about 10-15 minutes on foot. The Ybbs along this path and upstream to the next weir has recently become an Eldorado for stand-up paddlers. An entry point is not far from the apartment. The Ybbs offers fishermen a variety of possibilities with its excellent water quality. Several panoramic trails in Waidhofen and the surrounding area offer fantastic views of the Mostviertel hills. In the Ennstaler Gesäuse (only an hour's drive away), mountaineers and climbers will find interesting paths and routes of all difficulty levels from easy to very demanding. On the new Ybbstal bike path, you can enjoy exploring the romantic Ybbstal on the former route of a narrow-gauge railway. If you want something more sporty, there are a variety of mountain bike routes available in the vicinity. The Buchenberg Nature Adventure Park with children's playground, zoo, climbing forest (the largest in Austria), 3D archery course and many hiking trails is easily accessible on foot. The outdoor pool, an ice skating rink, a football and tennis court are also within walking distance. Waidhofen with its beautiful medieval cityscape also has a lot to offer for culture lovers, for example the 5-derfünfelemente, several Gothic churches or the "Klangraum Waidhofen" festival (with performances by international artists in the crystal hall of the castle).
