Jump on the shuttle and get some fresh pow! The main mountain lots charge for parking on Friday, Saturday and Sundays but parking is free Mon-Thursday). However, if you don’t want to pay for parking, we recommend the two free parking lots which are at The Cross Country Center (5281 Mountain Road, Stowe) lot or the Toll House Lift Lot (on your left as you get close to the mountain (but get there really early!). Once there’s enough snow and The Toll House lift is running you won’t have to take the shuttle to main lodge you can just ride the lift from there.. Please review it carefully and really familiarize yourself with the system so your visit is as stress-free as possible. Vermont in general has a large percentage of dirt roads and dirt driveways. While we do our best to ensure that the roads and driveways are clear and passable, we cannot guarantee easy access to each property without a proper vehicle that has either AWD or 4WD and is equipped with proper snow tires.
