The space Perfect location to explore Round Top and Warrenton, as well as the quaint town of La Grange! Whether you are on a Girls Getaway, attending a nearby wedding at the historic Ice Plant Building, visiting Round Top or just wanting to experience a slower pace you will enjoy spending time in this beautifully decorated and charming home! This restored Victorian guesthouse, with a unique history features 3 bedrooms and 3.5 baths and a 8’ cowboy pool in the summer and a fire ring and chairs in the winter. There are 2 bedrooms on the main level, one with a king-size bed and one with a queen; two twins on the second floor and a queen pull out sofa in the living room. One bathroom features a claw foot tub and a hand held shower, one bathroom has a full size jetted spa bathtub and there is also a stand up shower on the main level. There is a clawfoot tub upstairs that has been converted into a shower. In the kitchen please help yourself to bottled water in the fridge and Keurig coffee, drip coffee and tea selections. Powdered creamer, sugar and salt and pepper are also provided. Guest access Guests have access to the entire home, the private driveway, large fenced yard, 8' above-ground pool in the summer and a fire ring in the winter and one-car garage. Other things to note La Grange has a working train that comes through the heart of town. The train is part of the growth and history of La Grange and is a unique part of staying here. The whistle can blow at various times throughout the day and night. Many guests find it charming, or at least not terribly bothersome, but earplugs are provided. This property is located adjacent to the tracks. In the hotter months, cool off and enjoy the adorable Cowboy Pool in the backyard. Commonly referred to as a Cowboy Pool, this is an 8' wide, 2' deep stock tank that has been converted into a plunge pool with a typical pump and use of chlorine. If you would like to use the pool during your stay, you many need to utilize the skimmer net to dispose of any leaves or debris in the pool and you will need to turn the pump on during use. Guests with children, please use only under adult supervision and only if you can swim or are comfortable around water. Guests assume all risks of utilizing this amenity. Guests are welcome to use the cruiser bikes! It’s just a short 3-block ride to the town square, the DQ, H‑E‑B, antique stores, bakery, restaurants, bars and shops! Please only use the bikes if you are a confident bike rider and you are prepared to assume all risks involved with biking. Helmets and a bike pump provided.
